GayDemon's review of Hancock Men

Hancock Men features amateur straight, bi and gay men in exclusive hardcore and jack off videos. Upon entering the preview section, the user can preview the latest updates - each featuring a description, and displaying the video options that particular video is offered in. The site claims to update its content biweekly and promises DRM-free, Mac friendly videos.

Upon logging into the members area, the user is immediately taken to the first page in the video section. There are currently 203 episodes, each with video and stills, and that's 175 more than on our last visit 18 months ago, and averages over 2 updates per week. The user can get to that content by accessing either the video section or the models section. In both sections there is a back and forth tab, allowing the user to skip to the next video episode. On the video section it works fine.

The Hancock Men videos are all downloadable and can also be played without saving. No DRM is used, which means that the videos will continue to play after your membership has expired, and both Mac and Linux users will be able to watch them. The newest videos are offered in WMV, Quicktime and MP4 format, the largest WMV and Quicktime vids shown at 960x720 at bitrates around 1.3 Mbps. The MP4's are shown at 480x360 at just over 800k, and all these videos are average to fairly good amateur quality. Most of the movies here are shown at 640x480 @ 765k, and are offered in both WMV and Quicktime, although the full scenes are WMV, and most of the oldest videos are shown at 720x480, although a couple are 320x240 - but only a couple.

Every episode also includes a set of pics. Most are vidcaps taken from the movie. The pictures are laid in sequential order in the shape of thumbnails. Once you click on a particular thumbnail to be taken to the full sized pics, shown at 640x480 in good vidcap quality. Some pic sets are digital stills, shown at 720x480 at good amateur quality. There are downloadable zip files offered for all the galleries, so if you want to save a set, it's easy. The amount of pictures featured within each episode range from a low of around 30 to a high of 125.

This site features straight men getting it on with other straight, bi or gay men. The performers are between the ages of 20 to 30 years old and range from masculine to rugged to athletic. However, not all of the models are straight. One or two gay men do sneak in an appearance. There is a lot of side-by-side jacking off, anal and oral sex, as well as some solo videos. And Mike gets into some of the action, sucking or stroking some of the solo straight guys.

I didn't run into any real issues here. There are no dates on the updates, but the site has grown a great deal, so it definitely has been updating. And while I'd like it if the videos were higher quality, they're not bad - just on the average side.
