If you like hairy pornstars, Hairy Boyz is your kind of place. This gay porn site features the hot, muscled and furry men of Raging Stallion Studios. There are no twinks or boys on this site, just masculine hairy men from slender otters to well-built muscle bears. The tour offers a preview of every video in the member area, complete with a trailer. There's also a peek at every photo set and model the site has to offer. The latest five video updates are featured in a slider at the top of the page, and the rest of the updates fall under that, and they’re dated. Hairy Boyz has added 100 videos since our last review, so it’s time to take another look.

The member’s area navigation is easy to use and very similar to the tour. There are navigation links running across the top of the page, the most important are Man Sex Videos, The Men, Hardcore Photos, and Solo Photos. They’re self-explanatory, but The Men section gives you a library of every man appearing on the site with a brief description and detailed listings of all their appearances on Hairy Boyz. You’ll also find links to their stories section, third-party video plugins, and their live shows. Hairy Boyz currently offers 356 videos, which is 100 more than there were on the site during our last visit in January 2010, and they update with one new video each week.

Each Hairy Boyz video is offered as a downloadable WMV, but only in one size and there are five versions in both streaming Flash and WMV. The best quality videos are shown between 640x480 and 850x478 with a bitrate of over 700k; they have started adding super-sized videos at 1280x720, but not all episodes have this option. The movies range in quality from average to a little on the blurry side, but most aren't bad. The downloadable videos use DRM, which means they won't play after your membership has expired, nor will they play for Mac and Linux users. It also means that before you can play the video you have to enter your username and password, and I found this to be a gigantic pain in the ass.

There are lots of photo galleries on Hairy Boyz. Each episode comes with a set of vidcaps at average quality. But you’ll also find studio-quality digital photos of both the action and glamour shots of the men. Not all episodes have hardcore digital stills; some only have screen grabs. There are 701 photo galleries - 337 hardcore and 364 solos. The newer pictures display at 936 pixels on the long side, the rest display at 480x720 and 383x576.

The men of Hairy Boyz are hairy and masculine muscle men. They’re pornstars so you can expect lots of manscaping, clipped chest hair and trimmed pubes. Once in a while a hairy man will have sex with a not-so-hairy, younger guy, but you won’t find any big-bellied bears here - this is pornstar heaven and when these men aren’t fucking on camera, they’re working out in the gym. The men, the action, and the production values here are top notch as well as hot, hot, hot!

Hairy Boyz also has some interesting extras. They offer a once-a-week live sex show featuring men from the Raging Stallion Studios gang of men plus other pornstars. There are 470 archived live shows so you can catch up on any that you’ve missed. There's also a good-sized collection of hairy men stories and 26 assorted gay video feeds. All in all, there's enough here to keep members busy, and I'd say the extras do add value.

The issue I have with this site is that the downloadable versions of the videos are DRM-protected. What this means is that they won't play after your membership has expired, and Mac and Linux users can’t download them, they have to stream them. It's also worth mentioning that trial members get only limited access to what this site has to offer.

Hairy Boyz a great site if you're into masculine, hairy men, plenty of big cocks, and steamy hardcore action. The site offers 356 videos and 701 photo sets, which is enough content to keep members busy for a long while, and the site updates weekly with a new video and photo galleries. While there are downloadable as well as streaming videos, the vids do use DRM, so that may be something to keep in mind. Full members of Hairy Boyz get access to a good-sized collection of bonus video feeds, plus scheduled live sex shows plus tons of archived live shows.
