Gay Amateur Sex promises an interesting range of amateur action in a variety of settings. The tour indicates we might be shown "dogging" episodes (public outdoor sex) as well as some episodes featuring "baiting" where a straight guy gets conned into having gay sex - usually by receiving oral sex through a hole in the wall or by becoming blindfolded by a female accomplice. These they do indeed have, and there seems to be exclusive content, which is a good thing. Unfortunately, it appears that updates are rare - if at all - with no dates posted and only 21 episodes in all. One gets the decided impression this site suffers from a lack of updating right away. The models are nice to look at and the situations definitely appear to be somewhat spontaneous after settling in.

The members area has been improved so it's easy to use, although one would love to recommend that the site manage to fit more than three episodes to a page. Thus, one needs to click to the next page to see three more, etc, which is quite a bit of time, especially when compared to easier-to-navigate sites. The member area has no distracting ads or banners in the way - I give them that - and, all in all, judging by sheer navigation, it is pretty clean. Aside from that, a menu at the top offers the Bonus Sites which will, in the end, be the primary allure. With the apparent lack of updating, one would either have to love what is on the tour or other factors would have to drive one over the top to sign up.

The 21 video episodes come in 3 sizes, depending on the connection speed chosen from the menu offered and all in a WMV format. in the smallest speed, DSL Low, the screen is smallish: 320x240. This runs at 289 kps and it does go to full screen but, but at full screen it is exceptionally blurry. Next is Broadband which comes in with the same screen size at 589 kps and a bare improvement in the Full Screen version - it's still blurry. The third option: Broadband High, gives a larger screen size: 640x480 at 842 kps to 1 Mbps with good resolution and it expands to full screen with better resolution than the others but still only average quality. Videos are downloadable but they only come in the 256K size - thus we get to save the videos at the smallest, lowest quality version.

The pictures are served up in thumbnailed galleries . They are not downloadable. Access to them comes by by hitting a thumbnail, and then it appears on the same page, in front of the other pics and in a 500x350 frame. They materialize as if in a "lightbox" setup, flashing up from the thumb. These are static until one hits the next picture. There are from 40-45 pictures per episode. Quality is average, and there's only the one size of pics available.

The models are very nice - I give this site that. Good-looking guys in plausible situations as well as a group of studs having some dogging larks reveal a slew of amateurs having at one another with some passion. Plus it is the same with the solos and the couples featured here - they are nice to look at and their amateur action inspires some serious lust.

There is ample bonus content on this site, featured via the menu at the top of the member home page. These are probably the primary allure of this site inasmuch as the content here is in small numbers of episodes. Much of the bonus content is also exclusive and is obviously within the same network. The format - member home page, navigation - everything - is identical to Gay Amateur Sex except they have more episodes and different themes. There is one site which features an impressive number of oft-seen videos, definitely not exclusive. There are over 4,000 of these in the Island Porno section.

The primary issue I have with this site is that it does not seem to update - the site has the same number of updates as it did a year ago. The picture category is weak, too. Small pictures which cannot be downloaded mean they are only of interest to those who want to view the pics, not to save them. And the downloaded videos are small, without the ability to enlarge with any clarity whatsoever.

While Gay Amateur Sex has exclusive content and it provides precisely what it advertises, there is not that much content here. The issues regarding the pictures and the downloading problems regarding videos make the site a bit of a chore, too. I could see the virtues of all the bonus content pushing one towards a membership - even if only for a brief period. After all, most of the content is fairly original and pretty lusty stuff. It does reek of just the amount of amateurism one likes to see, filmed in a professional and interesting way. The issues spoken of before are real, however, and one would very much like to see them addressed before giving Gay Amateur Sex a big thumb's up.
