GayDemon's review of Freshman X

If you like college and frat boys, here's a site you are going to want to know about. It's called Freshman X and I think you're going to like it. Not only are the horny athletic college guys on the tour sure to get you squirming in your seat, but the site is from the same people responsible for Boy Fun Collection, which is one of the best twink sites on the web. The tour lets you browse all the episodes, including college boys sucking cock and jocks jacking off, and each has a short video sample.

The tour also promises 6 updates per week, downloadable and streaming videos with no DRM and 100% exclusive content. Sound good? I think so, so I'm off to the member area to take a closer look at Freshman X!

The Freshman X member area is a breath of fresh air. It's easy to use, there's a welcome when you log in that includes the latest site news, and there are no misleadking links or other bs. The 18 most recent updates are shown on the page, each with the date it was added and whether it was a pic or video as they alternate. There are also small thumbs on the left of the next 3 up-and-coming updates. The site offers 256 videos - 183 than there were 14 months ago - and 259. And btw, when it comes to updates, FreshmanX lives up to their promises. The site really does add 3 videos and 3 pic sets each week, and the only day when something new isn't added is Sunday.

The newer videos at Freshman X are offered in more and better options than the old videos. The newer ones are available in downloadable WMV, MP4 and M4V plus streaming Flash formats. The biggest and best of the videos are the MP4s, which are shown at 1280x720 with bitrates around 4 Mbps. They're good quality, play smoothly and sound good. There are also 2 standard sized videos - a WMV at 720x408 with a 2 Mbps bitrate and an M4V at about 1.3 Mbps. These are both average quality or better, and DRM-free. My only issue here is that the M4V, which is listed as an iPod video, would not play on my iPod.

The older videos are offered as both downloadable WMVs and streaming Flash movies. The WMVs are shown at 640x480 and are fairly good quality, although they could be a little sharper. Playback is smooth and the videos have good sound. Each movie page includes 16 non-clickable thumbs previewing the action in the video. It's worth mentioning that the videos do not use soundtracks - all you hear is the sounds the guys make. While amateurs tend to be quiet, and these guys are no exception, you can clearly hear every sigh, gasp and the sounds of sex and stroking.

When it comes to pics, FreshmanX does not disappoint. The pics here are offered in 3 sizes - approx 685x1024, 1000x1500 and 452x675. My favorite size was the 685x1024 pics, called Med-res. These are clear and sharp, and are nice and large while not being too large for those of us who still keep our monitors set at 1024x768 or so. The largest pics, shown at 1000x1500, are sometimes not quite as sharp as the smaller pics, but still look good. All sets can be browed in thumbnailed galleries, and are also available as downloadable zip sets and hands-free slideshows.

All of the boys are between 18 and around 25 and either slender and athletic or muscular. Looks range from average to cute boy-next-door, and I didn't find a guy who looked too old to be in college in the bunch. There's a good amount of cocksucking and anal action here, but there are more solo shoots of guys getting themselves off. The pics and videos show both the action and the cumshots very well. While there were no interviews in the videos I watched, you can look up each of the guys in the MODELS section where you can view their profiles - age, birthday, height and weight - on the left side of the pages.

There's a lot to like about Freshman X. The boys here are hot, horny and have great bodies and hard cocks and all the content is exclusive. Updates here rock since the site adds 3 videos and 3 pic sets a week. The DRM-free videos are good sized, good quality and come in both downloadable and streaming full scenes, and the pics are good quality and come in 3 sizes.
