GayDemon's review of FreshSX

FreshSX is the official site of gay porn studio FreshSX. They specialize in cute euro models and fresh looking amateurs in a mix of hardcore and jackoff content. The tour lets us preview what we'll find in the member area, including previews of all the models and DVD titles, although I just peeked in the member area and thre are other types of videos there that are not shown on the tour. The site offers weekly updates, high quality full-screen movies, and says members can watch their scenes before they are released on DVD. Ready to learn more? The member home page is simple and easy to use with navigation links running down the left side of the page, followed by a dropdown with the models names, contact and support links. To the right are dated recent updates, the 3 most recent shown with a good sized thumb. It appears that some of the updates don't include videos - 2 of the 3 most recent are pics updates. Also it seems the site recently has made some changes, and during that period updates were not regular or frequent, but it appears the site is now making an efford to add new content weekly - either a pic set or a video.

There are several kinds of movies here. First is the FreshSX Movies section, which offers 141 full scenes from 30 FreshSX DVD titles - 81 more than there were for our last review a little over 2 years ago. The oldest of these movies is offered in both downloadable and embedded WMVs, shown at 560x420 with a bitrate of 512k. They're average quality, and DRM-free. Some of more recent DVD titles are offered in embedded streaming Flash and embedded WMV, but aren't offered for download. And the 6 most recent titles are only offered in streaming Flash, and shown at approx 656x368. Most of the rest of the videos - model interviews, behind the scenes, etc. - are offered in downloadable WMV format and also shown in average quality at 560x420.

FreshSX does pretty well in the pics department, with 367 pic sets total, which is 108 more than there were 24 1/2 months ago. 227 of the pic sets are exclusive, and 161 are bonus galleries. Each pic set comes in your choice of 2 sizes - normal and large - which can be controlled by clicking one of the links in the upper right corner of each gallery. The pics are mostly good amateur quality, and a feature I liked in the FreshSX Models galleries is that at the upper left there's a link that says "More about this model" that leads to that model's profile.

The models of FreshSX are range from slender twinks to athletic jock-types with a few muscle dudes thrown in the mix and some over-30 guys, particularly from the daddy/boy video titles. The guys here range from regular-guy amateurs to pornstars with great bodies, and from clean-cut to rough and tattooed. Most of the videos are hardcore with plenty of fucking, sucking, although there are some hot solo jackoffs, as well as some sex toy action. The FreshSX DVDs include such themes as porn auditions, guys in London and Paris, big cocks, 3 ways and straight guys, plus there are a few titles that put the focus on one particular pornstar.

The extras for the site are found at the FSX Magazine section. There's a gay sex advice column, erotic stories, and gay travel guides. There are news stories but these are actually on another site. There's also web radio and horoscopes. The site also links to a "premium" live cam site where you can watch recorded parts of the live shows, plus there are links to another live show where you can watch the guys but must pay for nudity or action.

I did have a few issues here. The tour claims members can "Watch movies in high quality, full screen". You can watch the videos full screen, but the quality is average at their original size, and the older vids are not full quality at full screen. Also I was disappointed that the site isn't offering downloadable versions or WMVs of their latest videos. Members don't get a new video every week since it seems each update is either a pic set or a video. The prices have gone up, but that's not a real issue since the site has grown a lot.

Overall I like FreshSX. The videos are fairly good qualty as are most of the pic sets, and I'm happy when sites include behind the scenes and interview videos. The guys here range from cute amateurs to horny pornstars, and the action is hot. The older videos are still downloadable, but the newer ones are not offered for download, and the newest are only available in streaming Flash. While the site has grown a good deal since our last visit, the most recent updates are weekly but are either a video or a pic set. Still, there's a good amount of exclusive content here and if you like what you see on the tour of FreshSX, you're also going to like the member area!

Things we liked:

• No dates except on latest updates
• Only 1 video added in the past 3 weeks
