GayDemon's review of Eboys Studio

The tour page at Eboys Studio promises to deliver "bareback twinks" right onto your computer screen. With declarations of weekly updates, exclusive videos, thousands of pictures, and over 300 hours of video, there's plenty to get you interested. Even better are the preview photos � these guys are definitely some of the hotter amateur twinks I've seen lately. The join page promises "All Clips Exclusive to Eboys", and it looks like the content here is all bareback, which is good news if you're into condom-free videos.

Once logged in, members will see that Eboys Studio is fairly cleanly designed but with a slightly outdated look - a pretty common occurrence in the realm of gay porn. The front page gives you a number of links with which to search and browse the content. The latest DVD release is shown, along with a short blurb about its content, but you can't watch it - you can only buy the DVD. The most recent updates are displayed, with the newest photo gallery, video, and behind the scenes video, although there are no dates shown anywhere so it's impossible to know when they were added. Checking out a particular section of the site or model can be done by selecting via drop-down menus.

Model pages are neatly arranged with a simple style. A nice headshot of the model is on the left and his content will be linked to on the right. His stats � age, weight, eye/hair color etc � are also given, as are comments from other members. After clicking a gallery link, a page will open that contains a flash-based image viewing system, but shows ALL the galleries rather than just the one you clicked.

Each pic in the gallery is shown in a rotating index and any one can be scrolled to and selected quite easily. When open, the photo is enlarged to a resolution of 327x491 pixels, which is a little on the small side but big enough to make out the details. There are currently 219 models on the site, two thirds of which have at least one gallery and some of which have 2 or more. Most of the photo shoots are studio-based and good amateur quality.

Movies can be viewed from the front page by clicking the All Movies link. The 139 movies are all shown by means of a thumbnail image and title. After clicking the one you find most interesting, a flash based sub-window will open and begin streaming the scene. Streams load very quickly and look good at a resolution of 600x340 pixels. Saving the videos isn't automatically available but members can right-click the viewing link and "save target as" to download the video to their hard drives. Like the photo shoots, the videos are good amateur quality and show the guys in a studio environment or a well-lit house.

The Exclusive Videos offer a slightly different view of the models, with behind the scenes movies, casting auditions, bloopers, footage from photo shoots, and "cumshot festivals". This video section is laid out in the same way as the main video section and there are 20 videos online right now.

This section of the site is really the only area that offers any kind of bonus content but there's also a video-on-demand/pay-per-view page that allows you to watch streaming or downloaded DVD movies for a price. The Eboys blog is basically advertising for non-members, but there are some pics and short video clips there.

One issue I ran into revolved around the site's navigation. The exclusive video pages have links to the various video sections shown at the bottom and top of the pages that don't take you anywhere or take you to pages with no videos on them. It's also hard to tell, but I believe that only 20 of the videos are exlcusive and the rest are from DVDs, although I can't be sure. And last, there are DVDs for sale on every model's page - even the ones where the guys have no videos listed.

Featuring some cute euroboy-next-door types, Eboys Studio seems to update at least once a week, but there are no dates on the updates, so it's hard to know exactly how often the site adds new content. The videos are downloadable, although in Flash format, and they're pretty good quality. It's hard to say whether all the content is exclusive - it seems to be - or whether only 20 of the videos are exclusive to the site. While navigation could be simpler, and the site has some issues, if you like the models on the tour are are into bareback twink action, Eboys Studio is definitely worth checking out.
