GayDemon's review of Ebony D

When Im out cruising through the gay all-you-can-eat buffet, black men rarely tempt me unless theyre good-looking and well built. When I found Ebony D I was struck by the large number of hot looking men in their ranks, and I would definitely love to bring that little piece of the Web into my virtual reality. I have never seen such a finer looking collection of black men anywhere. And these men are not casual gym guys; these men are working hard on their bodies all week long â€" pumping hard in the gym to create firm pecs, strong sculpted shoulders, big biceps, hard six pack of abs, and round muscular butts. It's been a while since our last visit to the site, so let's take a look at the member area and see what's new at Ebony D!

The Ebony D member home page is designed just as beautifully as the men who pose inside of it. Deep, rich, committed colours â€" reds, oranges, and yellows â€" make these gorgeous black men jump off the screen. You can find your way around the site from small links on the upper right side of the page or on the left, where you'll find larger links with brief descriptions. The site shows one date, presumably for the latest update although it doesn't mention if this was a pic set or video. It also lists the dates of the up and coming updates, but the content itself isn't dated. It's been a little over 3 years since we last reviewed the site, and while there are 122 more pic sets than last time, there are only 5 more videos.

The 66 videos are in MP4 format, and they are full scenes shown at around 512x390. Quality varies - the newer videos look good (at least, i presume they're older - since there's no dates, i can't be 100% sure) while the older videos are a little on the low side. These videos are shown in embedded players, and since the site doesn't allow right clicking, there's no way to go full screen or to download them, but since they don't use DRM, they will play for Mac and Linux users. Each video comes with a set of pics, which can be found in the Recaps section.

The 237 pic sets at Ebony D show that the photographer knows what he's doing. Unlike some sites focusing on black men, the pics here shows them off well rather than letting them blend into the background from poor lighting. That being said, the pics are on the small side, the newer ones shown at 400x600 and the older ones at 300x448. The older pics are fairly good amateur quality, the new ones are mostly good quality. Each set can be browsed as a gallery or enjoyed as a hands-free slideshow, but there are no zip files offered, and since the pics are embedded on the page and right clicking doesn't work here, there's no way to save the pics.

Do make sure that you check out Roughneck. He was my personal favorite, although I still have a lot of guys to surf through. Hes good looking with hot, kissable lips, a beautiful hard and sculpted body with a scrumptious, black cock. With a healthy and thick 8 inches between his legs, hes one of the smaller men on the site. If you want to see a whopper, make sure to look up Polo Star. That man could do some serious damage with his weapon. I dont know if Id want to take that on.

Ebony D has a couple extras. One is the "fiction" section, where there are 19 pages of stories, although in reality each page is only a chapter of 1 of 3 full stories. The other section is the "profiles", which are personal ads. You can browse them or join in by creating your own personal and profile.

The only real issue here is the updates. While there are 122 more pic sets than there were just over 3 years ago, there are only 5 more videos. While it's possible the site rotates the videos, that isn't my first guess. The bottom line is don't expect new videos, and if the site does update the videos regularly, please let us know so we can include that info in the review.

If youre into black men, Ebony D delivers. The guys here are hunks - muscular, handsome and hot, and there's both solo and hardcore action. It's true that there are things that could be better - the videos aren't downloadable and the site has disabled right-clicking. But their high production values and quality of their models will impress you so much that youll forgive them. The catch is the updates - there are only 5 more videos than there were 3 years ago, although there are 122 more pic sets. But the price here is pretty low compared to other similar sites, so your wallet won't take a big hit. The bottom line is that I have never seen such a finer looking collection of black men anywhere, so Ebony D is definitely worth checking out.
