GayDemon's review of Dirty Tony

Dirty Tony is a site featuring some solo amateur guys caught on camera and interviewed by Tony Sparks plus some gay hardcore action. Most of the guys are from 19 to their later twenties. While 3 years ago the action was mostly solo, it's now a mix of hardcore man-on-man and amateurs jerking off. There are twinks, a lot of college-type guys and some bigger blue collar dudes, as well as some porn regular-types. The tour offers exclusive content, hundreds of downloadable videos and weekly updates. It's been a while since I last visited the site, so join me as I log in to see what's been happening at Dirty Tony!

The member home page starts things off with a search box on the upper right, links a little lower on the left. Below and slightly to the right is the latest update, listed with a thumb, description and date added. It's followed by the episode to be added next and then 5 more recent updates, all with thumb, description and date added. Dirty Tony currently offers members 371 episodes, 228 more than on our last visit, and adds a new episode every Monday and Thursday, plus there was one extra update in the last couple months.

The newest videos are offered in DRM-free MP4 and WMV, plus streaming Flash. The biggest are the MP4's, which are shown in HD at 1280x720 with a bitrate of just over 1 Mbps, which is a little low for a video this large so the details are just a little smoothed out. I also noticed the MP4's didn't play quite smoothly, and when I checked, it turned out they play at only around 15 FPS. The WMV's are shown 640x360 at just under 1 Mbps, but they are actually a little higher quality and play more smoothly. The older videos are smaller and offered in Quicktime, which is shown at 480x360 with bitrates around 1 Mbps at amateur to good amateur quality. The older WMV's are shown at 320x240 at just under 500k, mostly at good amateur quality.

Below the videos on the page is a thumbnailed gallery, along with a small link to a downloadable zip set. Each thumb when click opens the corresponding pic on a new page that disappears when you try to right click, so the zip sets come in handy if you want to save some of the photos. All the pics are digital stills, the newest shown at about 530x800 and the older at 450x600. Most of the pics are good amateur quality, although some of the older ones have slight issues.

While a lot of the guys in the older content are amateurs, some of the men in the newer sessions have appeared on the site often enough that it would be difficult to call them amateurs, and some are pornstars and regulars like Trey Thornton and Seth Fisher. There are still some first-timers, though. Expect anything from solo jerkoff sessions and hot duo gay sex to group action ending in multiple facial cumshots. Over time Dirty Tony has switched from mostly solo to mostly hardcore scenes, and the photography and lighting have improved.

While most of the feeds are gone, there are a couple interesting extras that weren't here before. First is the Studio Cam. When a shoot is in progress, you can watch the action as it happens. The other is linked as LIVE SHOWS, and actually leads to a live cam site called Naked Frathouse, where there's at least a couple scheduled live shows every week.

I did have a couple issues here. First, there's a pre-checked offer on the join page, so be sure to read it before joining to see if it interests you. Second, there's a banner wedged on the episode pages, right under the download options and almost the same size. There's also an advertising banner at the bottom of all the episode pages that leads to the same live cam site as the FREE WEBCAMS link at the top of the pages. Here you'll find you must pay for nudity or action, although you can chat with the guys for free. There's also a link to a blog that is basically all ads.

Dirty Tony is definitely both bigger and better than it was a few years ago. The site offers 371 videos with pic sets, regular twice weekly updates and exclusive content plus access to a scheduled live show. The episodes are well-organized, and though there are a couple ads on each page, it's easy enough to avoid them. While the new HD videos and some of the oldest videos could be a bit higher quality, they're not bad, and show off the guys stroking their cocks, sucking dick, fucking ass and shooting loads of cum well. And while there are some pornstars are repeating regulars, most of the older episodes and some of the newer ones feature first-timer amateur guys. Sound good?
