Dean's Boys is the creation of porn guy Dean Berkeley. You may have seen him in various porn DVDs and around the web, but this is his first site. Dean himself stars in a few of the vids in his site and in some of the others he actually directs and holds the camera. I've talked to Dean personally about this site, and he's very hands-on -- he even scouts his own models. In fact, the guys on Dean's Boys are guys that turns Dean on personally. The content on the tour is a combination of solo and hardcore, and the guys all seem to be between 19 and 26 years old. So far, so good -- so I'm off to take a look at the member area of Dean's Boys.
The member home page of Dean's Boys has navigation links running across the top of the page, a welcome and link to Windows Media Player. Below that are the three latest video updates and the three latest gallery updates. These updates are displayed with a thumb but without showing the date each was added to the site.
There are currently 20 videos inside Dean's Boys. The videos are all offered in WMV format and are all shown at 640x480. Bit rates range from just under 700k to about 1.5 Mbps, and surprisingly the newest videos are not the best quality here -- those would be the videos in the middle. Each movie is offered in several clips and can be streamed or downloaded with no DRM used. There are no full scenes offered, but the clips are long enough to where it's not really a problem.
Dean's Boys also offers a 14 pic sets, nine of which offer average equality vidcaps and five sets of which are digital stills. The digital stills are shown at 533x800 and are good amateur quality.
Of the 20 videos in the site 12 are solo and 8 feature more than one guy. Most of the Solo shoots here show an amateur guy stroking his cock like he was alone at home jacking off. The videos are pretty intimate, and don't include any extras like interviews to start them off. I was a little surprised that Dean himself didn't appear in any of the solo videos, but he does appear in three of them with a couple of different guys -- and he looks like he's having a great time!
In addition to the pics and videos inside Dean's Boys, members also get access to 6 bonus sites. These are gay reality sites in various porn categories, including big dick sex, college parties and first gay experiences. I say that they add value for members and are definitely worth checking out.
The one real issue that I had with Dean's Boys is at the site does not seem to be updating at the current time. I'd also like to see all the videos of the bit rate of over 1 Mbps. A couple more things I'd like to see at Dean's Boys include a model index and a profile for each of the guys. While these aren't available, we do get to know Dean as he has a blog inside his member area. While it seems that he took a sabbatical from writing in it for a while, he seems to be back and telling us all about his recent move.
After spending some time inside Dean's Boys, here's what I found. The site features 20 good-sized videos in varying qualities, all of which are downloadable. The action here is mostly amateur guys, all personally scouted by Dean. The site hasn't been updating recently, however members get access to six gay reality sites to help keep them busy. If you don't mind smaller sites and you're a fan of Dean Berkeley or you're into amateur guys, why not check out Dean's Boys.
