From the outside of this site it all looks well made with a professional style that tells me I won't be seeing any amateur stuff in here. There's a few chocolate twinks on the tour page that caught my eye too.. so at least I've got something to search for when I get inside. By the looks of it this is going to be full of hardcore from start to finish because all of the sample pics at Chocolate Rosebud are anything but soft! That's definitely my style too, why mess around with softcore when you can go for the good stuff?

The main member's area looks like it was designed some time in the 80s and I guess that's their theme because most of the videos look quite old as well. So it goes without saying that this stuff is not exclusive to this site and you may have seen it before. Anyway, the main page starts out like most sites do with a page full of scenes ordered from newest to oldest. From this I can see that a new update has been added about every two weeks which isn't that great really, but at least it's not a dead site. Each update has a preview image with a little description of the action along with links to the streaming and downloadable videos. A set of screen caps from video is also available for each scene.

Like I said before, there is nothing softcore about Chocolate Rosebud so expect to see plenty of well hung black guys getting bent over and banged in all possible positions. Most of the action involves two black men together, with not much group sex to be found, and some interracial fucking for that black on white feeling. They don't mess around with fancy things like a plot, foreplay, or anything like that.. so the videos are fairly short and get straight to the point.

The videos at Chocolate Rosebud are nothing special and most of them look old and very dated. Maybe it's just me because I've seen a lot of really good porn in my "research" so I like to see the top quality HD stuff, but I think most people will agree with me on this one. There are no high definition videos here and the best possible quality I could find were the full download options which are 640x480 at 1328Kbps. That would be acceptable if the content wasn't so old.. and yes I know I've said that a few times already! The quality even goes as low as 420x316 at 340Kbps if you choose to download individual clips from scenes.

It would take a miracle from the magical porn bunny to make me want to spend much time at this site, so maybe the pictures will save it, right? No, they won't. All of the picture galleries are screen caps from video which are small, 480x720 to be exact, and of course the quality isn't great. There are about 100 pictures per set with no zip files or slideshows available for viewing them.

OK so the porn bunny didn't come through in the end with those picture sets, so the last hope is with the bonus content. There is definitely a lot of it here at Chocolate Rosebud but most of it won't be what you're looking for because it's just general gay porn without any focus on black men. Anyway, you get some XXX games to play around with, access to 40 full pay sites, and four gay video feeds. All of this is still not enough to convince me that Chocolate Rosebud is worth its monthly price.
