GayDemon's review of BukBuddies

In a world full of so-called amateur sites featuring models who are buff, shaved and look like pornstars, it's not always easy to find sites with real amateurs. And by real amateurs, I'm talking about guys who don't pluck, trim all their body hair or wear bronzer. But there is a site called Buk Buddies, and it's one of the most sincere amateur sites around. There are no plastic-looking profession models and no twinky boys at BuK Buddies, just real, honest-to-goodness amateur men.

The member area of Buk Buddies is strictly no-frills but even so the navigation could use some work because finding your way around the site isn't always easy. There is a large pic of the latest update, and below that are 3 sections with thumbs, although the differences aren't that clear but the second one seems to list models with both photo sets and pics. Updates can be found via a small text link near the bottom of the page, but the latest update isn't listed there so it's hard to say how frequently this page is updated.

But don't let the navigation dissuade you, because the guys here really are everything they seem to be. I recommend that you start out by clicking any of the guys in the middle section -- the home of the larger thumbs and vertical scrolling. You'll instantly be taken to that guy's page which will include links to his shoots. Just look for the video camera icon to know which pic shoots also include videos.

Before we get into the pics and videos, let me tell you about Buk Buddies. First off, the shoots here have their own style. They have most of the guys strip and then change clothes during the shoot, sometimes several times, often with a theme in mind. They have the guys pose to show off their asses and especially their feet -- I'd say the Buk Buddies is a great site for a guy with a mild foot fetish because although the entire focus is not feet, we always do get to see them. Also in some shoots not only do we see the model jack off and shower, but they have some models do an entire second jack off scene.

All the videos inside Buk Buddies are WMVs shown at 640x480. Bitrates vary and so does quality. I saw videos with bitrates as low as 573k and as high as 1.18 Mbps, and varies from amateur to good amateur. Each video is presented in several parts and all parts are downloadable with no DRM. Some of the videos are also offered in Flash format, although some only offer a single clip in Flash. The sound on some of the videos with a more amateur appearance is just a little weird, although not a problem.

The photos at Buk Buddies also vary in size, ranging mostly from medium to large. Most of the pics are at least fairly sharp and good amateur quality, and there are multiple photo sets of almost all the models on the site. The galleries here are little quirky, often having one large picture and several smaller thumbs organized around it in a pattern but even the larger picture is clickable so these galleries are actually easy to use.

The site has some pic sets that actually date back to 2000, so this is a site that has been shooting their own content for eight years or more. The models that they like are brought back for more shoots, and there are many models who have pics and videos from several different years. While this makes for an interesting and good-sized site, there is unfortunately no way to browse the content by date, by year, by videos-only, or by pics-only.

The last section shown on the member home page has thumbs that lead to the archive. The archive turns out to be where all the videos are listed without any pic sets or extras. While the archive doesn't include thumbs, if you just wanna download some videos, this is the easiest way to do it.

Buk Buddies has some of the hottest "regular guy" models I've seen. These guys are horny with a guy-next-door look, and I think this is among the best sites if you want to see real amateurs who love getting off in front of a camera. There's a large collection of downloadable videos and photo sets, and while the quality could be better, I liked what I saw. There is only 1 update shown for the last month, but previously the site has updated weekly. If you love amateur guys - REAL amateur guys - in exclusive videos and pics, I definitely recommend you visit Buk Buddies!
