I'm a fan of seeing black men whipping out their big black dicks and pounding into another brother's sweet ass, so suffice it to say the tour had me pretty excited. So I log in to the member's area - and find a rather interesting surprise.
I wasn't actually in a member's area for Brutha Love. Instead I was on the main page for Male Video Network, and there was not a black man in sight. After I got done doing my best deer in headlights expression, I found out where my black on black porn was hiding. This site is just a category in Male Video Network, so I had to go ahead and get that figured out myself. It might not take more than a second to find it for an experienced porn surfer like me, but that'd definitely be confusing for the less porn surfing savvy.
My irritation level is still pretty low at this point, mostly because I'll go through a lot to see lots of hot black gay porn. So I start looking through the section, and I'm feeling pretty good - there are 84 listed videos here, which was more than I was expecting from a category. However, there are several title repeats where it looks like they just split up a movie into different scenes. At least there are more videos than the original review.
They have changed a few things with the videos since the last review of Brutha Love. Firstly, they have gotten rid of both WMV and MPG videos for DVIX. They also increased the size of the videos to 640x480 and put in full movie downloads, although there are no longer any clip downloads. An average video here is around 20 minutes long. Although the quality has seemed to go up, there is still a very amateur feel to the photography - and not really in the good way. More like in the shaky in obviously studio situations type of deal, with some smoothness issues on top of it. They also seemed to have mixed in a few interracial scenes, which is so not what I'm looking for when I'm expecting an all black experience. At least it seems like they're trying a little bit, although 60 updates in 2 years is still pretty disappointing, especially given lots of them are split from the same DVD.
You do, obviously, get access to the rest of the Male Video Network, but most of it isn't black porn so you'd be setting yourself up for disappointment there. This extra isn't too bad if you are looking for a bunch of general gay porn, but there are better choices out there for that kind of thing. There are also three exclusive bonus sites and 6 gay feeds (none black that I saw).
I'm really not trying to bitch and nitpick every thing that's wrong with Brutha Love - I swear. They just really shouldn't have tried to pass it off like it is its own site. I do have to give them credit for improving on a few things since the last review - namely video size - but there is still way too many negatives here. I also would have loved scenes from the same DVD to be grouped together, because I'm hoping they don't think they are fooling anyone by spacing out the scene updates. So I suppose I can wrap up all the complaints and the rambling into one short sentence - go whack off to something else.

Things we didn't like:
- Decent amount of videos are just split into scenes and spaced out over different months
- Update Schedule is sporadic, have to dig for update dates
- Not A real site on its own
- Jerky video at times
- Misleading tour
- Not all black porn - some interracial mixed in

this reveiw is so right. was i pissed off when i joined this site. i wish i had looked it up on a reveiw site before joining. thirty bucks down the drain. if your looking for black guys don't look here because most of the content isn't black.
