GayDemon's review of Brash Boys

Brash Boys is a hardcore gay site featuring content from Ikarus Entertainment. Most of the models range from straight-looking guys with toned bodies to twinks and men over 30 in male-to-male and solo action. The tour is a mirror of the member area, which means non-members can see how many videos, pic sets and what models members get access to. There doesn't seem to be a single focus here, but rather a variety of men and types of sex. The join page promises us that the websites content is exclusive and updates weekly, so let's take a look inside the member area.

Once inside Brash Boys, you get a look at what's new from a streaming video of the latest video update to the newest models showcased in the site. There are navigation links near the top of the page and also logos to 3 exclusive gay bonus sites where you also get full access with your membership - although strangely the logos aren't linked. The page has no ads or misleading links, so let's check out the various sections.

The Models & Photo section offers 48 featured models in a variety of types and ages. Each model has anywhere from 2 sets of pictures �' usually one solo set and one action set -- to several sets of pics and videos. There are also some info of the models provided which includes name, age, height, sexual orientation and dick size. The number of solo pictures of each model varies from 1 to over 100, although I only found a single model with only one pic. Pictures are good quality with resolutions of from 532x800 to 665x998. Some of the action pic sets are vidcaps from the movies they starred in. The photos here have better quality at varied resolutions of 532x800 to a high of 1000x664.

Let us go now to the Videos section where all the real action takes place. The site currently has 22 videos to offer. Each video comes with a short synopsis to give the members an idea of what to expect, the name of the stars featured and the duration of the video files which ranges from 14 minutes to 26 minutes. These videos can either be streamed in Flash format at 320x240 to 420x236 at 700kbps and 640x480 or 720x408 at 1,200kbps or downloaded in either MP4, WMV or MOV formats. You may choose to download the videos at a standard resolution (SR) of 300x240 at 800kbps, 720x576 at 500kbps for iPod, 400x320 at 500kbps for iPhone, 720x576 at 1,200kbps (WMV file). The best quality option is a Quicktime version, offered at 720x480 at 2000kbps. The movie themes vary from male-to-male, threesomes to hardcore gay sex outdoors. Quality is fairly good with balanced lighting and clear audio.

There was one thing that I found a bit annoying in the video downloads section. Each of the videos is offered in 5 different sizes/formats, and these are offered beneath a thumb of the videos, but they're not in the same order from video to video. The best quality are the Quicktimes, offered at 2000k, and sometimes they're listed last, sometimes in the middle of the list and sometimes first. You always have to look closely if you want to watch a particular format and size, because there's never any telling where exactly each option will be in the list.

I had some issues using the back button on several pages of the site particularly in the Models section. It either led me to a “page not found†or to the same page without the pictures. In most instances, I wasnt able to use the right button of my mouse for opening the websites pages in a new window. The only place I was able to use the right button of my mouse was in the models photo section. These issues made my visit on the site less enjoyable so to speak.

Brash Boys delivers good exclusive content with plenty of hardcore gay sex and a variety of guys from twinks to rather masculine men. All the videos can be downloaded in your choice of several formats, and quality of the videos is good amateur or better. At the moment the site is relatively small with 22 videos to offer, but it's been updating weekly, so hopefully will continue to grow. In the meantime, members do get access to 3 more gay sites, even though they do have to type the web addresses into their browser. The bottom line - Brash Boys is on the small side, but if you like what you see on the tour, you won't be disappointed.
