GayDemon's review of Boyz Party

Boyz Party is a site dedicated to twinks. The tour promises us 1257 twink models in 649 videos totalling 10005 minutes of footage plus 1616 photo sets. That is a hell of a lot of 18 to 24 year old boys! The tour lets non-members browse the photo and video directories as well as thumbs of all the models, so you can get a pretty good idea of what's inside. The site offers weekly updates, and videos encoded in Windows Media format at 480x360 with a bitrate of 768k.

The member area of Boyz Party is plain but pretty well thought-out. The navigation bar at the top of the page is easy to figure out, and the content sections repeat lower down the page, each showing the section's latest content. There are 649 videos and 1616 photo sets at the current time. The updates page shows the dates of all the latest updates, and it appears the site is adding a new video and set of pics every week. Any time from any page in the site if you want to return to the main member page, just look at the upper right and click Members - and bang! you're back.

The Boyz Party videos are downloadable DRM-free full scenes from DVD titles. The videos are all offered in WMV format, and quality and size vary by age. The newer vids are shown at 718x404 with bitrates of 1.4 Mbps or better and these look pretty good. Medium aged videos are shown at 480x360 at around 760k, and these are good amateur quality. The older videos are sized at 320x240 with bitrates around 375k at fair quality. One thing worth mentioning is that the newer videos are incorrectly listed as 768k, but actual bitrates are mostly double that.

Like the videos, the photos vary in size by age. The oldest pics are around 400x600, and quality is average. Medium aged pics are shown at around 800x600 and newer pics around 675x1000, both at good amateur quality or better. Each pic set can be viewed as a gallery or watched as a hands-free slideshow, and I'd say there's an average of 60 pics per set - sometimes there are over 100, but some sets have only 33 pics.

Boyz Party offers a model index, so you can browse content not only by video or pic set but also by guy. You can sort the models by rating, model name or ethnicity. There are all sorts of twinks, jocks and amateur guys here from boys next door to total cuties. Each boy's page shows a bigger pic of him, his rating, a dropdown so you can vote for him, plus links to DVDs, pic sets and videos he appears in. There are no profiles or descriptions, nothing to let you know more about each performer.

Besides the pics and videos, Boyz Party members also get access to some extras. There are 6 twink feeds including a live show and a Euro boys video feed. While not linked from the member area, members also get access to several good quality bonus sites, from the same network: Circle Jerk Boys, Extra Big Dicks, Boys Gone Bad and Men Over 30. There's also a link on the extras sections to Pride Theater that isn't actually an extra as it leads to pay per view.

Here's where we get to issues. There are less than 50 more videos than there were 3 years ago, and since only the updates are dated, there's no way to know whether the site stopped updating, updated infrequently or what other reason there could be for such minimal growth. Next, there's a pre-checked offer on the join page. And while not exactly issues, here are 2 things I felt could be improved at Boyz Party. One is that the site could use some personality - the look is clean and well-organized but I felt it was rather impersonal. The other thing is I'd love to see the older videos enlarged, and their bitrates increased to at least 512k.

Boyz Party is a good site if you want to see boys fucking, boys sucking, boys stroking their cocks. With a massive picture archive and more than 640 videos, this site features weekly updates, downloadable DRM-free videos, a good amount of exclusive content and a collection of bonus sites and feeds to help keep members busy.
