GayDemon's review of Boys Casting

The Boys Casting tour shows guys who want to get into porn as they do their first videos. A lot of them are done with a guy named Bruce, who finds this a perfect opportunity not only to find new talent but also to get his cock sucked by new guys. I couldn't help but notice that some of the guys on the tour actually appear more than once, but what the heck! Let's log in and see some of the guys of Boys Casting in action!

The Boys Casting main member page is fairly simple. The navigation links are at the top of the page, latest vids are below on the left and latest pic sets on the right and a member poll to the far right. There is one thing to watch out for. On the right side of the page directly below the nav links is a large graphic that says Access Over 10,000 Videos Now. Click it only if you want to pay by the minute to watch movies. I don't, so let's check out the Boys Casting content.

There are 91 videos inside Boys Casting, each with a set of vidcaps. There are also 42 sets of high rez stills in the pictures section. I'm going to start off by taking a look at the pictures section and then we'll check out the movies.

Each set of pics in the pictures section can be viewed as a slideshow or a gallery. All the sets are also offered as a zip file if there are guys you'd like to save for later. The pic sets are of solo guys and include stripping, posing and masturbation and the pics are good quality. The pics are shown at 800x600, and are easy to download if you are so inclined.

One thing I noticed is that at some point Bruce - the guy doing the casting in Boys Casting - has been replaced by Franck. While I particularly liked Bruce's brisk and casual style in interviews, Franck does more kissing and gets right to sex more quickly. He also seems more in tune with the guys, so both of these guys deliver hot videos.

The videos are shown in WMV and MPG format and are shown in high and low speeds. The high speed WMVs stream at around 700k and are shown at a screen size of 352x240. The MPGs are similar in both quality and size. The movies are amateur to good amateur quality, the older videos being a little lower quality than the newer ones. The low speed WMVs are offered at 56k and 128k and the MPGs are offered at the equivalent of 350k so dialup and ISDN users are covered. All the movies are offered in clips which can be streamed or downloaded but there are no full movies offered.

Each movie comes with a set of vidcaps, and for vidcaps these aren't bad quality. They do show you all the action - in fact, while I liked the feel of Boys Casting, I did notice that sometimes the vidcaps from Franck's movies showed some introductory stuff that was missing in the videos. I'm not sure how that's possible since vidcaps are taken directly off the video but my guess is that in a few videos the introductions were filmed but not included on the site for some reason.

Boys Casting members also get access to 7 gay bonus sites - Fuck That Twink, Barely Twinks, He's So Big, Twink Clinic, Handy Studs, Twink Boarding School and Crotch Buffet. While these sites aren't huge, I've visited Fuck That Twink and the boys are very cute and the full movies are extremely high quality, so I'd say this adds a lot of value for members. Members also get access to 1 bi site plus over 40 straight bonus sites, accessible on the network page.

Boys Casting did have a couple issues. Some of the videos downloaded very quickly while others were a little on the slow side. Once in a while, a couple preview thumbs wouldn't show up on a page. If you want to get to the later pages in the video listings, be sure and use the links on the bottom of the page as the links on the top still keep listing pages 1 - 10, which really confused me.

For the most part, I liked Boys Casting. With 91 videos, this site has enough gay porn to keep members pretty busy. The guys in the videos are pretty cute and the sex is definitely hot, and of course members also gets access to those 3 bonus sites for a little extra bang.
