GayDemon's review of Bondage Jeopardy

Bondage Jeopardy is a site that focuses on collage-aged guys in bondage. They offer members videos, comics and stories about that focus on gay bondage, from guys tied to chairs to being restrained by alien tentacles. The first page is also the updates page - all the content for last year is listed there with a thumb, date and a description. There are guys being tied, being gagged with duct tape, having their clothes cut off, being tickled, spanked and tied together in some very interesting bondage.

This site does not have a dedicated member area - the tour links to the content, so all members need to do is use their logins when prompted. The site updates every 3 to 4 days with something new, which does keep things fresh for members. Those updates, however, are part of a video or part of a comic, not the entire thing. While there are probably over 100 video updates, these video updates are each a single 4 to 6 minute clip taken from one of 11 DVDs, and each DVD has between 6 and maybe 14 clips. After doing some counting is that the site offers 11 DVDs, 6 full comic "books", 11 galleries and 6 stories.

The videos are offered in WMV and Quicktime formats, and are shown at 320x240, the WMVs with bitrates of around 750k and the Quicktime bitrate around 2 Mbps. Both look pretty good at their original size, but they are also pretty small. The WMVs still look pretty good when enlarge to 200%, but at full screen they lose a lot of quality. Despite their higher bitrates, the Quicktime vids fared only a little better at full screen. All the videos are downloadable, and do not use DRM.

Next let's take a look at the Bondage Jeopardy comics. These are multi- page comics done in strip form, and range from 8 pages to 35. The comics are shown at various sizes, mostly between 464x600 to 612x797. Quality is good, and all but one comic book is in color. The comics are done in a semi-anime style, and there are a lot of guys getting captured by aliens, wizards, monsters, assorted bad guys, and in one case, a male stripper. There are plots of sorts, although mostly involved with being captured, bound and perhaps sexually used, although not always. There's dialogue and lots of toon guys trying to escape, which has its own charm.

Let's get to the last two content sections. Gallery section is a mish mash of scanned mainstream comics showing various bondage scenarios on helpless males, including some costumed super heroes, and pics - i think they're small vidcaps - from the Bondage Jeopardy movies and some mainstream TV shows. The stories are all very much bondage and capture oriented, and at least 2 seem to go along with 2 of the comic books. These stories are pretty long, and while they aren't mostly sexually oriented, if you like stories of abduction, bondage, escape and turning the tables, these will keep you reading.

One thing those who have their monitor resolution set at 1024 will want to know is that the pages here are designed for large resolutions, so they won't look quite right at 1024 or smaller, but even so you can see everything the site has to offer. I wasn't in love with the page layouts or navigation here, but everything works - and that's the important thing.

Bondage Jeopardy focuses on college aged guys being abducted, tied and tormented in their collection of gay bondage content from videos to comics to magazine and comic books scans plus a small group of long bondage stories. I've never seen a site that offers such a mixed group of materials, and it's pretty interesting - especially the mix of bondage w/sex videos alongside the mainstream comic book bondage. The site updates every 3 to 4 days, although each update is either several pages of comic or else a single 4 to 6 minute clip from a 60+ minute DVD title. While the site isn't huge, there's enough to keep you pretty busy for a month or two - maybe more with the updates. If twinks and jocks being caught and bound turn you on, I'd say that Bondage Jeopardy is worth checking out.
