Black Gays Hardcore is a 100% ebony site with a mix of hardcore and solo action, and the action is all black-on-black. Yet within that specific niche there is some nice variety. Some of the guys are lighter in skin tone while others are much darker, some have dreadlocks while others have short, cropped hair or shaved heads. Whereas some models are tall, muscular, and thirty-plus, others are twinks, slim, and very smooth. You'll find a fair smattering of average-looking guys, too; in fact some of the models here are probably amateurs, and you'll find some really well-hung guys in the mix. It's a cliché, yes, but these ebony hunks sport some big dicks, some uncut and others cut, plus full nuts and nice round asses.

The action is often hardcore with two or more black studs getting it on in a variety of situations. There are hard cocks drilling dark asses, stiff dicks being sucked until they shoot their loads and you'll find a few group scenes as well, but the site offers mainly duo action, and there are some scenes featuring a lighter-skinned black stud with a darker stud that will almost seem like watching an interracial video. And then there are solos, so not all of the action is the hardcore indicated by the title. These solos include guys either stripping naked or pulling out their rods and stroking them for the camera; don't expect sex toys or ass shots.

A lot of the movies at the site tell a story and give you an intro, a middle, and an end. The endings are happy (of course) and cumshot-related while the intros are varied: two guys meet in a gym, get chatting, and sex ensues. Or two guys hang out on the street, go back home, one makes a move on the other, and away we go. The hardcore tends to move from chat to suck to fuck to cumshot and the video work is fine. The videos seem to be taken from somewhat older DVDs - think late '90s to early mid-2000s.

There are 133 videos at Black Gays Hardcore, and video options are many and varied. More recent scenes are offered to download in WMV format at 1280x720 plus two smaller sizes, and MP4 files are there for mobile users at 640x480 and 320x240. They're also available to stream at 640x420. The videos are full scenes, and some are also offered as clips. Looking at older movies, however, I found only two sizes of MP4 available, while some had all the options, others had most and some with only a few. There are usually at least one, if not two, MP4 downloads and always the one streaming option. And, I should add, on at least one occasion I found the stream was unavailable as the file was not found.

At their original sizes, some of the movies - probably the newer, more up-to-date productions - look pretty good and these enlarge well, but others appear to be taken from older source material and are fairly rough even at their original sizes; I wouldn't recommend enlarging those. Scenes run for an average of 20 minutes.

Most videos come with picture sets. You will see the images on the same page as the videos, making them easy to find, and you can click them open and run slideshows. There are also easy-to-use navigation tools. I found screencaps at 720x480 at poor to average quality as well as good amateur quality digital stills sized at 1024x680. You are able to download zip files for the digital stills, and all pics can be saved individually. The images are mainly about showing the action, but there are some hot posed shots included in some galleries. There are from 19 to well over 100 pictures per set.

Full membership to this site comes with some bonuses. These come in the form of 17 network sites that include some interracial and may include some more ebony guys, though the leaning seems to be towards white models. There are also bi-sex and tranny sites included here; in fact, the tranny sites are the only ones still updating. The Bonus Sites section offers 35 gay feeds, again mainly (if not completely) featuring non-ebony models. There's also 103 feeds with all kinds of variety and action. The network also holds over 100 straight sites and there's a dropdown list of all networked sites to make it easy to browse. There's also a model index to browse with 87 guys listed, but there are no stats or details here, simply links to their videos.

There are a few issues to be aware of here. The network updates page shows that there have only been tranny updates for the past five months, so it's safe to say that this site has stopped updating. There is a pre-checked offer on the billing page that, if left checked, will sign you up for a second recurring site membership when you join Black Gays Hardcore. The trial membership gives limited access, and trial members pay $10 more per recurring month than the cost of the regular monthly membership. The first thing I saw on entering the site was a banner advertising some tranny hardcore sites, which might be a bit off-putting, and I was disappointed at the lack of info about the models.

Black Gay Hardcore offers a variety of hot, hung, and horny black guys in a mix of sexy jack-off sessions and black-on-black hardcore action, but the site also has an old-school feel to it with movies that are taken from pre-HD DVDs and a plain members area design. There are 133 videos to download, stream, or watch on your mobile devices, but don't expect updates, HD videos or anything dazzling; you can, however, expect a good time with a lot of bonus content, and while that's not always ebony or interracial-themed, it adds up to decent value for those who love black guys plus and are looking for variety when it comes to the extras.
