Bay State Boys is a site dedicated to amateur guys in the Boston area. A lot of the guys look cute and they definitely do look like boy next door types. The site says it updates weekly and there are plenty of guys on the tour jerking their cocks or jerking with each other. There are also some cute guys jacking off together or sucking each others' dicks so this is not only a solo site. Being a real amateur fan, I'm more than ready to log in and see the member area of Bay State Boys.
The member area is pretty simple, as was the tour. The navigation links are on the upper right of the page, latest updates are on the left and are also listed down the right side of the page. The 3 latest updates are dated and they seem to have been added over the last 5 weeks, so it doesn't look like we can count on 1 update per week. Below the updates on the left are links to some bonus content. We'll get back to them shortly, but let's start out by clicking Video Galleries.
Bay State Boys offers over 150 videos which they claim all stream at over 501k and run between 2 and 30 minutes. Most of the videos I watched streamed between 555k and 914k and played on average around 14 minutes and shown between 480x360 and 640x480. A few vids were offered in multiple clips which were around 2 minutes each. These had a bitrate of just under 500k and were shown at 320x240. Since the videos are in alphabetical order, the only way to figure out which movies were the oldest and a little lower in quality was to look for thumbs with poor lighting - and a couple fooled me by being good quality.
Just so you know, a few of the videos looked familiar to me and one - the Jeremiah video - is definitely for sale to webmasters on a content site. What this means is that at least some of the content inside Bay State Boys is not exclusive to the site. There's no real way to know how much or how little that is.
If you are looking for pics, there are 2 sections containing photos - solo galleries and action galleries. There are 145 solo sets and 55 action sets although not all the listed sets offer pics. Sets are listed by thumb only - no name or date - and when you click one, you are taken to a page with one pic on the left and on the right a small graphic of a hand holding what might be a pic. Click that to see the photos. Underneath the hand graphic you will often find a graphic that says "play movie" so if you like the pics, you can easily find the corresponding video.
Pretty much all the action sets and many of the solo sets are vidcaps. These are average quality for vidcaps and shown at a pretty good size - for vidcaps. Some of the solo sets are digital stills. You can recognize these because the preview thumb on the listing page is vertical. I found the lighting on the digital stills to be so-so or in a few cases pretty dark and inconsistant but then these are amateur pics shot by amateurs, so that's only to be expected.
In addition to the exclusive Bay State Boys pics and movies, members get access to some nice bonus content including Montreal Boys Live, Live Twink Cams and Blackshots. Members also get access to Squirtz, a twink ezine featuring 24 exclusive twink models. Strangely enough you will find the bonus content under the words Some Future Updates on the main page.
One thing worth mentioning here. If you go make yourself something to eat or download one of the videos and watch the entire thing, when you get back to Bay State Boys you may find you've been logged out. The site seems to log you out after around 5 minutes, but don't worry - all you have to do is log back in.
Other useful things for members include a Help section. That has info on how to play the movies and other potential issues and also includes contact info. There's also a feedback form link and for those interested in appearing on Bay Street Boys, you'll find a "Become a model" link near the help link. For those who love the Bay State Boys videos, you can buy the movies on DVD. Just find the link to the video store with the other links in the upper right of the page.
The best part of the videos (and the pics) is seeing real amateur guys in action. A lot of them are real cuties and there are plenty of twinks and college aged guys. What was missing for me was a sense of personal involvement. There's no text telling about the models, no description of the shoots and for the most part no interviews. So what you have is plenty of amateur guys stroking their cocks or giving blowjobs but we don't get to know anything about the guys which gives the site a sort of an anonymous feel.
With well over 150 videos and 200 pic sets, Bay State Boys has a lot to offer amateur lovers. Many of the guys are hot, the videos are amateur but well-shot and most of the videos are good quality and fast to load. The site is updated, although not that regularly, and members also get access to 3 good live feeds and a twink feed as well. While there are no profiles or anything to let you know more about the models, and at least some of the content is not exclusive, if real amateur guys turn you on, Bay State Boys is definitely worth checking out.
