Frankly I do not understand the reasoning behind adding bonus sites to a site. I mean they give you a load of different sites, which in my mind is merely an attempt to split up their collection of photo's and images, or to reuse them and hook you inside.

With membership, you get a bonus of 6 other sites: Handy Studs, Twink Boarding School, Boys Casting, Crotch Buffet, Fuck That Twink and one other, I will at least be thankful they kept the bonus sites on theme.

Barely Twinks is well laid out. It isn't dirty looking, has a nice clean appearance and best of all the main navigation within is relatively simple, and easy to use. Nice to see for a change actually.

Logging in is not difficult, and does have a security code you have to enter each time you visit. Now, it is a bit inconvenient, but I rather think it is worth the added effort to get inside.

So, photographs. I have an issue here because you see, they do show you some of the pictures. They are careful to tell you how many pictures are in each gallery, couple of good sized photos to illustrate the content too, but the kicker is the tease of clicking for the slideshow.

By the way, that is the only way to get into the galleries. Clicking the images gets you nowhere. You have to click the "view slideshow" text, and what gets me, is it throws you off. I sometimes prefer a nice slideshow, but first I want to see if the model is what I am interested in.

Surprise, that is what you get. There is NO slideshow feature available, it is simply a text tease. Instead of something more intuitive, like "click to view" they use this hook. Wouldn't be too bad if there actually was a slideshow feature. On the up side, you do get to download a zip file of the models.

In point of fact, you are able to download both the picture sets and the videos. I should also mention that when you check out the videos, there is a picture set feature as well.

I had problems viewing the pictures in Internet Explorer 7 and less problems when using Firefox. I will say, the photos are crisp, clear, and open in a new window. However, not all the thumbs or gallery pages loaded quickly or fully. That was a bit frustrating.

There aren't a ton of photographs in just that folder, but then as an added feature to the Video section it does sort of fill out somewhat.

The Videos are a treat actually. To begin with you have choices, and I love choices. There are two high speed options, MPG and WMV, and three low speed choices, again though MPG and WMV. No Quicktime option though.

Again, I question why the visual scenes being displayed aren't linked to the scene, but okay I can live with that. I also enjoy the option of simply downloading the entire video.

Once you choose your speed, and viewer (WMV or MPG) you are given scenes to choose from. Here they sort of let me down. I mean there just isn't any visual or text information on what is in each scene. I kind of think it would be nice, to sort of see something to entice one to download a scene. Of course you do get the whole video, but still, sometimes you don't want to have the whole thing, and you are in a hurry to whack off.

There is a text description of the video itself however, and some basic statistics as well. Not bad, is rather nice.

While the selection of models for both the Photos and Videos aren't what I'd label as Ultimate Twinks or for that matter, Barely, it is a site that has some good points. I think that in calling it "barely" they aren't referring to most being 18, but more on the high side, of say 22. Though there are some that have that young Twink look.
Now if they had incorporated the content from a couple of the bonus sites, into just the one site. Well then it might be a super twink site. I liked some of the bonus sites, though I didn't spend a lot of time visiting. There is some duplication, but the other sites had the same navigation, same clean look and style, so it wasn't a bad experience.

The process of going to the other sites is seamless as well. Now that was rather a pleasant surprise. All in all, I rather liked the site, though the models aren't my ideal twink look.

• Good quality full scenes
• Site maintains boarding school theme well
• Dialup clips for those who need them
• No DRM used
