GayDemon's review of BaDoink Gay

BaDoink Gay claims to be the iTunes of porn - gay porn, in this case. I don't know about that, but their tour claims that they 2,000 DVD's that can be burned, will work on mobiles and works with iTunes. They also say that there are "10 new DVDs added daily" and that every scene is HD quality, an odd claim since HD refers to size, not quality. The tour lets non-members preview every DVD title and scene that the site has to offer, and categories include ass to mouth, blowjob, anal, double anal and facial cumshot. When you log into BaDoink Gay, you'll find yourself looking at a page with a downloader. There is also a small link to BaDoink LITE, where you can access every DVD without downloading software. I did not use the downloader, and Gaydemon does not recommend downloading or using any kind of software that you are not already familiar with.

The BaDoink Gay member home page is easy to use, and the 24 most recent updates are all listed, shown with the DVD cover and date added. And speaking of dates added, this site adds 5 to 7 DVD titles per week - usually 7, one being added each day, which is good but a lot less than the 10 daily updates they offer on tour. The site currently offers and impressive 1151 DVD titles, each with several scenes. There's a search box, links to Most Downloaded DVD's and scenes, best rated DVD's and scenes, a link to all the DVD's and a category list. The numbers next to the categories are misleading, however - for example, one category listed next to the number 39 offers 6 scenes.

Each DVD is broken into several full scenes, and each video is a downloadable full scene in DRM-free MP4 format. These videos are full scenes shown at 640x480 with a bitrate of around 1.65 Mbps. Quality is average, higher for some vids and lower for the classic or older titles, and sound is fairly good. Some of the videos look a little odd, though, as they were originally widescreen and are pushed out of aspect ratio to make them 640x480. For those who prefer to watch rather than download, the videos are also available in streaming Flash, and they look pretty good.

The good news for iPhone and iPod users is that the videos worked fine with iTunes. I was unable to get to the BaDoink Gay site using my iPod Touch, as typing in the site address leads to their straight mobile site, but I was able to use iTunes to load videos to my iPod, and they played fine.

Most of the action here is man-on-man or solo masturbation. There's plenty of cock-sucking, barebacking and big dicks, a few chub videos, plenty of gay group sex, and guys jerking off. Expect all sorts of men, since the videos are from different eras and studios. There are some straight categories, some of which lead to straight sex DVD's, some of which lead to a page with no results. Some categories might sound like straight sex - Latina, for example - but actually lead to gay content. Natural Tits, unsurprisingly, shows chicks getting fucked.

There are some extras, too. There are 44 bonus videos and a gay DVD library. I found some of the same DVD titles in the library as I found in the site, so I'm not sure how many of the videos are separate, but the library did seem to offer some different vids so it could be worth browsing.

Now let's talk issues. BaDoink Gay makes a fair number of claims on their tour that aren't accurate. I suspect that the text on their tour is mirrored from the straight version of the site, which has more updates, more videos and more categories. That being said, the inaccurate claims include 10 DVD's added daily (the site adds 1 DVD per day and sometimes misses a day), 2000+ DVD's (there are under 1200 - still a lot, but not as claimed), and while they say they add a new HD title every day, I didn't find any HD scenes and the video quality was average, not as high as many similar sites have to offer.

One thing I couldn't find that's usually available on this type of site is a studio list, which I've always found handy. That being said, if you find a video you like, you can click the studio name on the page listed to see all the videos from that studio.

BaDoink Gay offers 1151 full DVD's, each with multiple scenes, and adds a new DVD almost every day. The site is searchable, easy to navigate, and the videos are downloadable, DRM-free, and
will play on your computer or on your mobile. The site has some issues - see above - but it also does offer a lot of content and frequent updates. There are some bonus vids, too. While the site doesn't meet its tour claims, there are a lot of videos here. If you're looking for tons of gay porn, BaDoink Gay could be worth checking out.
