BDSM Sentinel is a site that features bondage, BDSM and plenty of leather. The tour is old-school and doesn't give the amount of information or samples that I'm used to seeing on sites with more modern designs, but it does give a taste of what they have to offer. Their site doesn't make many claims but does mention that members get access to a "large variety of Mini Clips". Unlike most sites, BDSM Sentinel has two types of memberships - the standard members get access to the mini clips, 50 most recent pic sets and is low-cost and does not rebill. The Premiere Membership is still reasonable, rebills till cancelled and gives access to full videos as well as mini clips. No update schedule is mentioned on the tour, either, so I'm off to the member area to see what BDSM Sentinel really has to offer!
The member home page has the menu on the left side of the page and some additional links on the bottom. In addition to the links to videos and photos, there's a link called dungeon that allows members to check their "coupons". When you have enough coupons, you get a free DVD from Torsion Video Productions. There's also a link to News, which turns out to be the updates list. None of the updates are linked, but it does show the date when each is added as well, and it seems that the site updates once a week. There is no link back to the member home page on the other pages, however there are links to the other sections on all the pages. Also there is a link to Cinema on the menu that is pay per view, not more content.
There are 30 "mini clips" in their own section and 30 full scenes in the full scenes section. The videos here - both clips and full scenes - are offered in both WMV and Real Player formats. The movies are shown at 320x240 in an embedded player that works in Internet Explorer but not in Firefox. The WMV bitrate is a whopping 256k and Real Player is similar, which means that the videos are only amateur quality. Don't expect much in the way of sharpness and if you go full screen with the WMVs, expect blurring and other quality issues. Remember that the standard members only get access to the mini clips, which are basically long trailers for the full scenes.
The action here shows guys tied up and struggling, ball stretching, tickling, cock and ball torture, being shackled and penetrated by sex toys and so on. There are plenty of clothes pins in use on tender nipples and balls, and the videos show slaves bound in very uncomfortable positions. I also saw plenty of hot wax being dripped on helpless subs and also some cock sucking. Most of the sessions take place in a dark dungeon setting against a black wall and include plenty of dungeon gear and black leather restraints.
There are 4 pic sections in the photos section - Get Images, which allows premier members access to all the submitted pics, Latest Photos, which allows all members accsess to the 50 most recently added pics, Galleries, which is 5 galleries of pics that seem to be vidcaps from a few of the movies, and a link to allow members to submit pictures. The Get Images and Latest Photos pages are photos submitted by members. As such, they vary completely in size and quality, although the subject matter is guys tied, gagged, blindfolded and tormented.
BDSM Sentinel does have some issues. The videos aren't very high in quality and they aren't downloadable. I'm not sure why they even offer what they call their "standard" membership as it doesn't include the full videos and their premier membership is less expensive than at similar sites. Something else I didn't care for is that if you choose to join, you must go through 3 pages with explanations about joining before you finally get to the actual join page. The tour is sort of the same way - they do show you what you'd like to see, but take more pages than you'd expect for the amount of preview they give. And one last gripe - every video is shown with the DVD it's from for sale on the page. I'd feel better about this if the videos were better quality, but as it is, it makes me feel that the videos in the member area are simply glorified samples to sell DVDs.
Still, the bottom line is that if you're looking for real BDSM content, the 30 videos inside BDSM Sentinel deliver. The videos are offered at 320x240 - a little on the small side these days - at amateur qualityand are not downloadable. If you want to get a good idea of what to expect from the vids, there is a sample video on the tour that shows very accurately the size, action and quality you can expect in the member area. For the most part, the pics are user-submitted and so quality and size vary from pic to pic. The site updates about once a week. If you're looking for large high-quality videos, this may not be the site for you.
