At first glance, Australian Males seems to be full of cute 18 and 19 year old beach boys and sports guys - presumably with aussie accents. I see plenty of toned, tanned bodies and outdoorsy twinks, and by clicking the Model Galleries link, I find there are well over 100 models, each with a few sample pics and a profile. It looks like most or all of the models here are exclusive, and the tour indicates that there are original full length movies inside the member area. It also shows that the most recent update was yesterday, which is a good sign.

The member area of Australian Males has the member menu running across the top of the page. It's easy to read, but there is an issue here which I'll address in a minute. There's a featured model on the left followed by the latest full movie update and on the left are links to things like bonus live feeds, a collection of sex stories, galleries with ads on them plus a couple bonus sites. Below are the latest updates for the feeds and underneath is a list of 20 feeds in a variety of niches. There are no dates except on the new movie - and that's from 4 months ago.

Australian Males offers just over 145 videos not counting the over 200 short interviews on video. The very oldest videos are in Real Player format, the not as old ones in MPG and the newest are in WMV. The actual Videos link leads to all the vids presented in clips - for those who prefer to enjoy the full videos, there is another link in the navigation menu called Full Length Movies, and that's where you'll find the full vids.

The clips in Videos are shown at 352x288, and while I do wish the movies were shown at a larger size, all the WMVs have a good enough bitrate to enlarge to 200% and still look pretty good. The older movies are offered in dialup and cable, but most of the rest are offered in the faster speed only in streaming or downloadable. Sound is pretty good and no DRM is used. While these aren't high end professional videos, they are mostly amateur to good amateur quality and the boys are as described - fresh, natural and well worth watching. The full length movies are for those who, like me, prefer watching a full scene to clips. The older videos - the MPGs - are lower in quality, but that's to be expected in a longer running site like this. And of course if you love aussie accents, be sure and watch the interviews.

Download speed here was a little weird. Sometimes it would be pretty fast, then it would slow down just a little - nothing major. A couple times, though, the downloads stalled altogether. When this happened, I simply re-started the downloads and things went more normally and I was able to save the movies without further incident.

The Photo Galleries link actually leads to each model's home page so I'd say this is more of a model index than a gallery section. Each guy's page includes his profile - age, height, favorite tv show and all that good stuff. The page also includes links to his videos and there is an actual thumbnailed gallery right there on the page. The pics range from medium to large and are offered in both a thumbnailed gallery and a slideshow.

The live guys section is what most sites seem to offer - there are guys to chat with but if you want them to get nasty, you have to pay by the minute. The bonus galleries are small galleries with plenty of advertising, but the bonus sites are worth visiting. There is one more section inside Australian Males - the Bonus Material section. That is where members can find not only 32 bonus sites but also access to stories and advertising-driven content. These are videos and galleries that have ads on the pages and are often linked to from a menu with more ads. The only link here that actually annoyed me was Jokes/Downloads. This is a page with a single joke on the top (you can reload the page to see another) and a great big ad.

Here's something I really didn't care for. When you click the Home link on any of the pages, you are not taken back to the page you arrived at when you logged in - you are taken to a page full of ads for other gay sites that says "Welcome to Gay8.Sex-Passes". These aren't free passes, either, so don't get your hopes up - these are sites you must pay to join and someone - probably the owners of Australian Males - gets a commission for each site membership sold from the page.

Is Australian Males worth joining? If you like the boys you see on the tour, and don't mind that the videos are offered at 352x288, I'd say that this site has a lot to offer. With over 200 model interviews, 60 full length movies and 145 videos offered in clips - not to mention the pic sets - this is a site with enough exclusive 18 and 19 year old boy content to keep members busy. The models are amateur, cute and horny and there's some gloryhole action as well as twinks jacking off. The issues - there's no way to know how often this site updates, the monthly price is higher than most sites and also you've got to watch out not to click the "Home" link as it takes you to a page full of ads. Still, the bottom line is that Australian Males has enough to keep members stroking and the amount of movies, models and pic sets makes this site worth checking out.
