GayDemon's review of Ass Rimming Roomies

Looking for a site that features rimming? Well, here's one that focuses on men who love eating ass. The site is called Ass Rimming Roomies, and the tour shows plenty of guys tonguing and sucking on each others' buttholes. The tour offers exclusive content, DVD and hi-def quality videos, and access to dozens of bonus sites as well as a large movie database. There's no mention of video formats or an update schedule, so let's head off to the member area and see what the site has to offer.

The member home page of Ass Rimming Roomies is pretty easy to use. The most recent update is listed near the top of the page, followed by more recent updates. They're all listed with a thumb, title, date added to the site plus linked names of the performers. There are currently 20 episodes, but this is where things get interesting because the site has the exact same number of videos it had over a year ago. There's no way to know whether the site is adding new videos and removing the old ones or simply adding new dates to old updates. On the left are the navigation links, and below a search box are some ads, plus there's a banner at the bottom of the page.

The Ass Rimming Roomies videos are offered in downloadable MP4 and streaming Flash formats. There are 4 sizes of MP4's, including one for iPhones. The largest of the MP4's are shown at 640x360 with bitrates around 2 Mbps, and the MP4's play on iPhone, iPod and other mobiles. While video quality throughout the various sizes is good amateur, the rooms the action takes place in aren't well lit, and as a result all the videos are a little dim. The streaming videos are shown at about 720x400 at several quality options, the best of which - HQ - looks pretty good. None of the videos here use DRM, and they all played smoothly.

Each video comes with a set of pics. While at first I thought they may be vidcaps, they seem to be digital stills but the vertical photos are turned sideways. The photos are good amateur quality and shown at 800x534, although they're shown a little smaller as each one is embedded on a page. Each gallery has 197 or more photos that can be browsed as thumbs or enjoyed as a hands-free slideshow.

Most of the guys here are average amateur types, with bodies that are neither muscular nor slim, but there are a couple hotties, too. The action takes place mostly on studio couches that make it hard for the guys to move around freely, which means they can't get really wild and crazy. The action is mostly sucking and fucking, with some rimming, but no more than you'll see on other gay sex sites. Most of the guys appear in multiple videos.

Ass Rimming Roomies comes with plenty of extras. There are 12 gay sites and feeds, a tranny sites and 35 straight sites listed in Bonus Sites, plus 10 tranny sites and 75 straight sites listed in Network Channels. Next are the over 800 gay DVDs that can be watched or downloaded by scene. And in Bonus sites there are 12 gay feeds, a bi feed, a shemale feed and some straight feeds. There are also the Gay Videos and Gay Pics sections. While you may have seen some of the content in the various bonus sections before, there's just so much of it that you're bound to find some stuff that's of interest.

When it comes to issues, I did find some. Trial members won't get full access to all the site's features. Next, the trial memberships recur at $15 more than the cost of a regular monthly membership. Here's something I haven't seen before - if you cancel your membership online, you will be charged at 95 cent fee. When I first got to the site, a popup console appeared, although it was easily closed. Something else I noticed is that the join page offered "DVD & Hi-Def Quality", but these videos are not HD and they're not DVD quality, either. And last, the site terms says daily logins is limited to a max of 10 times per day.

Ass Rimming Roomies offers downloadable DRM-free videos, and each video does feature some rimming, but no more than a lot of videos that aren't considered rimming videos. The site offers 20 non-HD videos, and although update dates show recent updates, the site has not grown any larger in a year. The tour offers both HD and DVD quality but what I found was okay quality standard videos. Full members get access to tons of both gay and straight bonus material, although trial members don't get access to the extras. The bottom line - if you want to get an idea of what the guys are like, check out the tour, but keep in mind that you won't find as much rimming in each video as the previews would lead you to expect.
