GayDemon's review of Asian Guys

The tour of Asian Guys shows a variety of attractive asian guys - mostly twinks - in both solo and hardcore action. The tour itself is attractive and well laid-out, and definitely showed enough variety of models to get me interested. The guys are from all over - Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, China, Vietnam, USA, Indonesia, and Laos - and the tour promises are pretty interesting, too: 5 updates per week, 2 new guys per week, asian foot fetish galleries and multiple video formats and sizes. They also claim that this is the largest gay asian sex site on the net.

The Asian Guys member area starts off with a rather large menu running across the top of the page in 4 rows of smallish text links. Below that on the left is site news, which lists the latest updates along with dates. On the right are 4 thumbs linking to recent updates which, interestingly, are not the same 4 updates listed on the left. Next comes 4 thumbs which are samples of the coming attractions. Beneath these are graphics leading to the 5 categories of photo galleries and 10 thumbs leading to the video sections. At the bottom of the page are links to customer service and legal stuff, and that's it!

There have been 3 galleries and 1 video added to the site in the last 2 days, and there are 4 updates scheduled to be added in the next 6 days. That's a lot of updating and I'm sure that Asian Guys members appreciate it.

Asian Guys currently offers over 1900 pic sets, and new galleries are added several times per week. Photos in most of the galleries are shown at a screen size of 1024x768 and are offered at amateur quality. Pics are offered in 5 categories - Model Pics, Hot Sex Pics, Fem Boys Pics, Ass & Cock Pics and Foot Pics - and every pic set inside the site features asian guys only - there's no filler or other niches, which is a big plus. A lot of the models seem to do multiple pic sets in one day as they sometimes wear the same clothing in more than one gallery, and you may find one model doing a foot gallery, a cock gallery and a couple model sets.

There are over 300 videos inside Asian Guys, but those videos aren't all full videos - some are only part of a video, so there's no way to know exactly how many full videos there are inside the site. The movies are offered in both WMV and Quicktime formats and newer vids shown at 640x480 with a very nice 1999k bitrate. Quicktimes have a 900k bitrate and look almost as good. There is a smaller size video available in both formats. Shown at 320x240, these vids are good for people on slower broadband but still fairly high quality and are not suitable for those on dialup.

The Asian Guys videos are offered in multiple categories: Model Vids, Hot Sex Vids, Fem Boy Vids, Exclusive Vids, Raw Vids and iPod Vids. There are 251 iPod videos in Mp4 format which are the same size as the smaller WMVs and Quicktimes - 320x240 with a bitrate of 696k. I had one issue with some of the oldest videos as they had no sound, although to tell you the truth, it isn't as big an issue as it might seem since most of the guys are amateurs and don't make much noise in most of the videos.

There are a couple changes I'd have liked to see inside Asian Guys. I'd like to be able to search ALL the pic sets by date rather than only being able to browse pics by category. The same goes for the videos, and I'd also like to be able to browse full scenes - right now, you can only browse the videos in pages full of thumbs of clips, and there's no way to know how many clips there are in each video. I'd also like to see an upates page or longer list of updates - at least a month - so we can easily see all the recent updates without having to search for them.

Asian Guys has a lot to offer members, and the site has made some noticeable improvements to the navigation and the way their content is offered. There are currently over 1900 pic sets and over 100 full videos plus several weekly updates make this one hell of a site if you're into asian twinks and amateurs. The new vids are big and all the videos are downloadable, the pics are large and there's a story collection and vids for your iPods, too.
