Hungering for some cute Asian Twinks? Then lets checkout Asian Dream Boys. The tour is looking good, with lots of lean, lanky and cute Asian Boys, and I like what I’m seeing so far. A quick check of the join page tells me he’s running a CCBill program, which means it’s easy to join and cancel, always a plus in my book. I’m also seeing that members will be getting access to over 11,000 photos and over 145 videos, which tells me the site has been online for awhile and has had time to beef up the content, which is great, especially for an ethnic niche site like Asian.
Logging in I’m presented with a quick message letting me know that I can expect 250 digital pictures, four movies, one story and two sets of high resolution scans monthly. Another click and I’m on the home page. Nothing fancy here, but it does show me the most recent updates, and links to Solo Boys, Action Boys (2 or more boys in hardcore photo action), Videos, Scans, Stories and a Bonus Series of 3rd party content.
Checking around the photo galleries, I’m finding a nice mix of just for fun imagery of Asian boys, like a gallery of images of three cute boys out on a boating trip along with solo and couples and group sex galleries. Some galleries are a little lean but then it all balances out with galleries in excess of 200 images in them as well. All the photos so far are really nice sized, quite sharp and have good color balance. I can right click to save, but there isn’t a zip gallery download or a slideshow option feature.
Movies got a little tricky. A left click said a download was in progress, but nothing happened. A right click and doing a “save target as” started the avi file download, but when it finished my Quicktime tried to run it and came back with an error. I had to go into my Explorer and use Real Player to view the clip. I got a really nice large viewing of some excellent quality video. Clips are rather short, so you’ll probably just want to download all of the ones for a film and view them once you’ve saved them. I didn’t see a way to download the entire video as one file. The ones I checked had a soundtrack along with being able to hear moans and such, and had nice transitions in the action. The guys are hot and the sex is excellent! They’re really into having a good time and it comes through in the videos.
Moving through other site goodies, I checked the Scans, and these seem to be images the site owner has taken from various Asian magazines, like H Magazine and Icon. The Stories are plentiful, but these are offered up as .pdf files so you’ll definitely need Acrobat installed to read them. I did run into a couple of bad links trying to get out of the story index and back to the main member page, but for the most part, navigation wasn’t bad at all.
The Bonus Series is 35 plus galleries of what I immediately recognized as purchased Asian content. Still, these were of above average for quality, and the site is staying true to offering only Asian content to its members.
Overall, it’s a nice site for the Asian niche and offers a lot of custom content. The updates are regular and the site isn’t relying on feeds or non-Asian material to “boost” retention. I would prefer that they put the stories onto html pages instead of the .pdf arrangement though. If you want a site devoted to gay Asian twinks, give AsianDreamBoys a try.
Review Update 1-26-2006
After the owner saw our review, he made some changes, and invited us back to check out the site again. I’m happy to report that the stories are now on actual pages and not in pdf format, and the link problems have been repaired! Overall, the “repairs” have done a lot to make the site more surfer friendly! Way to go Asian Dream Boys!
