GayDemon's review of Alpha Male Fuckers

Alpha Male Fuckers is a gay hardcore action site that features the content of Alpha Male Media, a London-based gay porn studio. The men range from 18 to mid 40s, but with an emphasis on more mature, muscular and hairy guys, primarily from the UK and Europe. The tour includes trailers for 19 videos with descriptions and images.

The site promises 100s of exclusive scenes, unlimited downloads with multiple speeds and formats, real-time streaming, high quality photos and videos, and weekly updates. It's been over 2 years since our last visit, so it's time to get reacquainted with Alpha Male Fuckers.

The home page is well-designed and straightforward. It's topped by a menu bar with links to the main content areas i.e. movies, extra footage, models and bonus sites. Below that, the latest video update is featured, followed by sections showcasing other recent updates, most viewed videos and the latest models.

The Movies and Models pages display 20 items at a time, all dated, starting with the most recent. Each model has his own page, with biographical information, his photo sets and videos. Each movie scene also has its own page, listing all streaming/download options, accompanied by thumbnails of photos detailing the action.

There are 229 videos, 169 more than our last visit. Over 60 are solos, many from the defunct Alpha Male Jerk Offs site. The rest feature duos, threesomes and a few groups in solid hardcore action with good production standards. The scenes are full length, and most come from Alpha Male Media DVDs; the source DVDs are not identified. There are a few live scenes filmed at clubs, featuring handheld cameras, mediocre lighting and achingly hot action.

Although updates average once a week, the schedule is erratic. In the 42 weeks of 2011 so far, only 24 videos have appeared. Updates are usually issued on Mondays, but not always. Download options have changed a lot over time. Streaming works reasonably well but other sites do it better. A resolution of 1920x1080 is a recent innovation. Some videos are streaming only.

There are 300+ pic sets, solos and action, with good quality digital stills, not screen caps. Solo sets can range from a single image up to 60, action sets from about 40 to over 100. Older photos have a size of 1000x669, newer ones 1200x803. There are no slide-shows. Every set has a downloadable zip file. Individual images can be right-clicked and saved. There are some scenes and models without photo sets.

The model count is about 180. The 2 most prominent are Trojan Rock, Alpha Male Media's British producer, and his Brazilian partner Carlo Cox. Most of the other models are a perfect fit for the mould of mature, well-built and often hairy guys. They're experienced performers you may have seen before. A recent addition hasbeen scenes by young (18-25) smooth Czech guys. Fine but not really a good fit. The models are serious performers into what they're doing. All the regular stuff (sucking, rimming, fingering, fucking) is here. Some scenes go the extra distance with pissing and fisting. Trojan is especially fond of giving his fuck buddies a hand. There are a few bareback scenes, but only between guys who are real-life partners.

Bonus sites from the Cock Access network are now listed on their own tab. They have been reduced from 5 to 3 since our last review, and one of those no longer updates. Another tab labelled ‘Extra Footage' contains 23 behind the scenes videos (no additions in 2 years) and 6 1280x960 wallpapers. The "Big and Beefy" blog we liked in our last review has gone, replaced by one promoting each update.

There a quite a few issues. Downloading can be erratic. The large watermark on videos we noted last time is still just as intrusive. There is no way to search the content. Some might mistake the lists of hyper-linked keywords found on each video page as a search tool. In the main, they are a mix of the irrelevant, redundant and just plain wrong. Non-recurring membership options have been discontinued. Oddly, the tour lists more photosets and videos on the Model pages than the members' area does.

Alpha Male Fuckers delivers on most of their tour promises. They offer 229 videos, most with a good quality action pic set, and add a new video at least once a month, but often more frequently. Here you'll find men who are mostly mature, muscular and often hairy. Most of the DRM-free videos are downloadable, of good quality, and offered in a range of formats, including iPhone and iPad. There are numerous streaming options. The site is easy to navigate, and offers some extras. If you like mature masculine men in hardcore action, Alpha Male Fuckers is definitely worth checking out.
