Just an update...Sean Cody has gone to a "DRM-like" format. You can download the videos, but you can no longer save them. Disappointing, but still a great site.

Obviously they've restricted the download speed (in general, or - no idea! - for foreign users only). It will now take about 1 hr to download a 200MB movie file. I've been a member for about 2 years now, but this behaviour is "unswallowable" and let me cancel my membership.

Many years ago, this was THE amateur "gay for pay" porn website for me. (I will never forget the awesome scenes when regulars like Luke and Dylan decided, after various solos and tentative man-on-man scenes, to take the plunge and get fucked.) This is no longer the case, mainly because there seems to have been a policy change with its owners. The focus now is mostly on gay guys having sex with gay guys. If this is your thing, I still think it's a good website. The guys are definitely fit and attractive, etc. But it's not my scene. The whole thing has become too polished. The guys are all too eager to get fucked. (Even the st8 dudes are really more likely bi-curious. It doesn't take much for them to submit.) Like some others here, I now prefer websites like Chaos, but precisely because it has a more amateur fill to it (even though it's shot in HD) and every once and a while there is still a reluctant st8 dude who agrees to a BJ or even discovers the pleasures of anal intercourse.

I hate all the behind the scenes, solo, and audition scenes. The few sex/action scenes are always the same, they never mix it up. the site has alright guys but chaosmen and corbin fischer are much more bang for your buck...also beware of downloading from a different site than the one you join...they cancel membership if you use your laptop and travel and download from a different source..caution!!

Be VERY aware before subscribing to this site. From what I've read of other reviewers, the game seems to be to get your money and then cancel you and not give a refund. I was cancelled because I used the site on my pc and my iphone which as against the terms.

Apparantly, you can only use the site on one piece of technology. I guess the developer is not very tech savy since many people do have smart phones as well as computers.

Sean Cody was a lot hotter in the pre-DRM days. Before anyone replies to this, yes I know it's no longer using DRM. I'm just using the pre-DRM vs. post DRM (we're currently post DRM since they no longer use it) as a time marker. The guys on seancody.com are usually exactly the same. Hairy, even hairier asses on the guys, into rough fucking and being fucked. Now the action scenes are ALWAYS followed with a "behind the scenes" scene, which is a really cheap way to increase the "content" on the site, without hiring more models or staff, just claim you updated twice as much as you really did. BTW the "behind the scenes" scenes are really boring, and the opposite of hot. I agree with the previous comments who complain that he uses the same models over and over again, but you never get to see more of the models you WANT to see more often, they usually disappear after one solo scene, or maybe one action scene. I would give seancody.com a 3 out of 10 rating. Not the worst out there, but by far not the best or even in the good category. Too fake, unbelievable characters, and constantly repeated themes with nothing new or exciting thrown in.

I wish the GayDemon reviewers would make up their minds. In the 4th paragraph of their review they clearly say "The movies do use DRM..." But, later in the review they say no DRM is used. Look, if I can't watch a vid without entering a code or burn it to a DVD for my own personal use to view on a TV set instead of a computer, then I'd call that DRM. I was a member of Sean Cody a while back and it was DRM protected as all hell. The vids were so protected that after download, you HAD to watch them as is and couldn't even scan or rewind. Basically if you wanted to see your fav cum shot again, you had to restart the whole vid from the begining again. Sean Cody was very good about giving me a refund after I complained. I do like porn sites with a bit more freedom. If Sean Cody is now different than before, this GayDemon review isn't really clear about that. This site has great guys, but too many issues.

I was also a 'victim' of the daily download limit and had my account terminated with no warning whatsoever. I did try to reason with them and explained that what I was doing was updating all the old videos which they had upgraded. I told them if they checked they could see that my downloads were from the old vids back towards the newer ones. Their response was too bad, you broke the rules. I apologised for my error and admitted that had I been aware of the limit I would never have exceeded it. I asked if they would make any type of compromise since I had been a loyal member of their site since 2002--over 6 years. Everything fell on deaf ears.....you broke the rules. Otherwise it's a great site.....but super lacking in the customer service area. So, for me, that changes their site rating from a 5 to a 1.
