here it is end of Nov and they are still working on the site. Advertising says DRM-free videos but every one I tried to d/l wouldn't. Sent an email to support and received a response that Dink would be adding downloadable videos "very soon". They should say this on their advertising and website before people subscribe. Buyer beware.

Thanks GayDemon for contacting Active Duty. I understand that these sites have to make money, perhaps AD should follow the lead of Corbin Fisher's new micro pricing? Offering specific video scenes for a price. I would buy that, and if fact do on the new CF site. I would do the same at Active Duty. I don't want to see the old stuff, but view his new videos but not necessarily having to go through the hassle of waiting years for the ones I want to see randomly come up. Anyway - thanks again for the forum. I do use it to help me check out other sites. so thanks!

Just heard from Active Duty, they don't want us to review the site just yet as they are still working on a new design, better features and better quality videos. Which means a new review won't be coming until then, sorry.

Lets be genuine about the site - it does not offer 400 videos. It offers at best 16 each week. Of which 1/2 are streaming and the other 1/2 are from an typically old catalog work of Dinks and you can down load those videos. Compared to other websites like Sean Cody and CorbIn Fisher this site is disappointing, military genre or not. I hope Dink one day offers his entire catalog for download for a price that is right and the gives the gay consumer a choice of which videos to watch when the want, not wait for the luck of the draw. I stand by my rating of 2 stars and apparently so do others. Thanks for responding Gay Demon but your site should hold these sites that milk the gay consumer to a higher standard. Thanks - love your forum but honestly 2 stars.

In response to the complaint about the score.. When we last reviewed the site there was over 400 videos available.. It's quite a good offering. But yes you are right as the review also points out most is not available to download, but that on it's own does not justify a lower score. Also very few sites offer lots of full DVD's to download, specially in this type of Military Theme.

I disagree with GayDemon in giving this site an "8". It should be a "4" at best. The site is terrible, only offers 4 old videos from the 1980s to download and 4 videos to stream each week. Hardly work the $20 bucks each month. Dink needs to get with the times. And Gay Demon needs to gain the trust of its readership by posting sloppy and over rating bad websites.

I have been a member for 3 weeks and disappointed about how this website is very restrictive to all their catalog of work. I have been watching Active Duty videos for 10 years and have to say the newer stuff is better now that they guys make out and stay hard while getting fucked. Having said that the website as of this posting really does suck. He posts alot of his old graining stuff - you get 4 videos to download - usually things from the 1980's, occasionally he will throw one in there from two years ago, but not his new stuff. And then you get a choice each week of 6 videos that you can stream but not download. Sucks if you have a bad web connection. If you are fan of Active Duty and don't mind shelling out $19.95 for a few years you might be able, I say might, be able to get a nice library built up. For the rest of us - it might be better to preview the videos elsewhere and buy them from a distributor if you are big fan. DO NOT EXPECT LINE OF SIGHT ACTIVE DUTY HAS PRODUCED TO BE POSTED. This website is a cluster, not well organized and again, is dated in technology (i.e. does not support IPAD, etc.). I tried it once after 5 years of seeing bad reviews in the hopes it would be better - but no, I have to agree with the other negatives comments. Sorry Dink! You need to step up old man and get with the times.

The dude use ONLY 1 CHEAP CAM to shoot the vids. so, the quality is not good at all. miss capturing so many cum scenes.

1. VIDS OR MEN ARE SEARCHABLE.

2. DON'T SHOW ALL MOVIES. It has a strange restrictive method of taking down films weekly, being replaced by another set. NO ORGANIZATION. JUST RANDOM ACT.

Site has removed DRM. However, downloadable content is restricted to 4 'scenes' per week. The rest is just streaming. The men appear to be real military (if unsure, google for the military court case against the site).
The guys are very hot. The "swallowing" shots are mostly faked although every now and then you're lucky and catch a real one.
I'd rather see no cumshot rather than a faked one. Also would prefer (more) downloadable content.
The site has a few bonus sites but they are barely updated at all.

I've been a member of Active Duty for over 4 years now and I really like it. They always have the hottest guys that you just can't see anywhere else. A lot of the things that are holding down the rating just don't apply any more. The streaming videos are DRM-free and Active Duty does have downloadable videos now. They have 4 scenes available each week for download, plus like 12 entire movies streaming that change each week. One of those is always the new one that was just filmed. The guys are all current or former military, and most of them really are straight, and you can tell they aren't just acting. If they aren't straight, Dink is honest about it. Plus there is some really hot streaming content on their sister sites that you get free as well. I think the site needs a makeover, but you can't beat the content!
