Quality webhosting by a gay couple who deliver what they say. I can vouch for them. In this day and age where it seems any kid with a dedicated server and a few bucks is setting up hosting plans, you have to be pretty careful about what company you decide on. I learned that the hard way. Very poor support. Slow servers that go down way too often etc. I've had a small personal site up with these guys for 2 years now and have been treated very very well. They even give you a free month here and there just for being a good client. You have to be with them for a while though in order to get things like that. Besides, with their basic plan being a reasonable $13.99 a month featuring 7GB of bandwidth and 200MB of space, complaining would be pointless. Sure, there are some sites offering more BWidth and space for less, but I challenge those providers to be up as much as these guys. Whether you're looking for advanced setups (all free by the way), or just a basic site for personal use, you'll receive nothing short of excellent support, a friendly manner, and basic human respect from Moonslice. I highly recommend them.

A Couple of Guys
It might not be in your newspaper, but it is in a few. This is the site for a syndicated cartoon, with a definite gay slant to it, and there are even some sample strips available to view. Course you might need a magnifying glass to read the text, but if you are looking for some humor, some adult cartoons, then this site is worth checking out. It is funny, and very professionally done. There is the cast of characters, along with an overview. I swear that the one character, Andy Parker, resembles someone I know too. Least in looks.

Gay Authors
While erotic and mainstream gay story sites are showing up more these days, there still isn't enough good ones out there for my tastes. If you're always on the search for good writing, Gay Authors could be a great place to hang out as they offer links to some of the best gay penning on the net. The best way to get access to all this great writing is to sign up at the Forum. Linkable to your left. From there you can check out a whole slew of blogs and other resources. To get to the stories themselves, hit the "Stories" link in the main menu. After signing up I immediately started browsing the huge list of stories. It's interesting to note that some are for adults and some are for kids. However, each tale is labelled accordingly so there are no major suprises. Although surfing is isn't too bad on Gay Authors, at times you may get a bit confused. From what I can see a fair amount of different sites branch out from it. So it's best to just sign up in order to get a better perspective of what this resource features.

A different type of blog actually, for those who like a little bit of thinking to go along with their reading. There are a ton of different categories to read, many on different religions and their struggle with Homosexuality, but it isn't just about religion either. It is more of a collection of differing views, and helps show the complexity of simply being Human. For those who are into some deep reading, soul searching, or just trying to get a handle on one's own beliefs, this blog has some interesting opinions, and tons of added links. It does make you ask questions, of yourself.

It has some videos and photographs that you can explore and if seeing feet in sneakers is your thing, then this site is worth visiting. Believe it or not, but yeah there is a member's area but the free preview section has loads of pictures and videos. No, not naked guys, just feet in sneakers with a chance to buy some well broken in pairs.

You'll have to surf from page to page but it's all there. The drawing reminds me of older comics from back in the 60's. Spiderman comes to mind. Same style so to speak. There seems to be a large library here. Some of the stories are dramatic, they are gay men (don't hit me!), and yet most are just downright hilarious. Your cartoonist is Chris Companik and he seems to have a good grasp on what makes for some decent cartooning. They aren't for sale from what I can see and the quality in my opinion would put him just above amateur status. That's not to say that this is bad artwork. It's just that you can tell it's a hobby. A most welcome thing in this day and age where some people will sell their grandmothers on the web if they can.

Funtone USA Record Store
"Welcome to The Funtone USA Televison Network". Funtone appears to be a site featuring pretty obscure gay related television programming and the like. They stream from 9 separate quicktime video channels. I checked out a bit of "RuPaul's soon-to-be-released legendery new film Starr Booty Reloaded" and I have to say for sure that the material is most certainly unique. Pretty comical at times too. Also featured are "Nelson Sullivan's Legends of New York, The Joy of John Sex, The Club Kids, Caught On Tape." Most of the characters starring in these productions are transgendered men. Which to me only makes things pretty entertaining and humourous. I mean, they are pretty funny people. You can get at all channels from the main page which makes surfing a breeze and the layout is simple. The text and images are certainly large enough - LOL - so you shouldn't miss anything. You could grab a few chuckles and perhaps even be entertained here.

Long Yang Club Global Village
At first I kind of thought it was a different way of suggesting big dicks, but boy was I wrong. It is a club actually, for gay Asians and non Asians. It has clubs all over, and holds social events and gatherings, like any other 'social club'. There are links to the various chapters of this group, some 35 actually, along with listings of events, and other helpful information for the Gay Asian community, at large. The concept is to bridge the gap between east and west cultures, to provide helpful information and relevant links or resources. Has lots of different features to explore, though the chapter list is perhaps the most important one. Seems current too.

Launched about five years ago in Singapore and now a multi-tentacled enterprise that extends way outside the online world, fridae is a great gay internet success story. The site has an exclusive focus on Asian gay experiences and si clearly backed with heaps of dough - this isn't a grass roots thorn tree, or well-meant home page. Fridae ran the very successful Nation dance parties (which tore up beaches on Phuket, high-rise discos in Hong Kong, and so on) and has a wide profile across Asia and the pacific. Easy navigation, hot photo galleries, and very much geared towards well-muscled and party-loving Asian guys.

OutSports.com is a veteran maxi-site (on the web since 2000) for gay sports lovers. A Different Light bookstore has been around as an actual store in West Hollywood and San Francisco since 1979. I've always liked shopping there, so I was happy when I ran across their website, ADLBooks.com. A Different Light specializes in all sorts of gay books, erotic and non, gay family oriented books, books for young adults, fiction, calendars, videos... the list goes on and on. For those who are tired of browsing books that are almost all straight oriented, the fiction here all features gay, bi, transgender and lesbian characters and most of the non-fiction is also written with a slant for gay, bi, tg and lesbian readers. And yes, there's also porn - books, magazines and DVDs. The site is well-laid out and easy to use, with a dropdown menu that takes you to any section in the site or you can use the menu on the left side of the page. Many of the products have user reviews, which is always a plus. There are sale items and a list of in-store events for those close enough to the stores. The bottom line - it's nice to see a bookstore that shows the world from a queer perspective. If you shop books online, be sure and check out ADLBooks.
