While breathing is most certainly a very important thing to the living, this blog is pretty funny. I think it's intentional.
The description of the blog at the resource where I found the site reads as "Respiratory Therapy 101 is a blog about my
life in the world of medicine. I am a respiratory therapist, and my job is to make sure that people keep breathing. It is an
important job because if they are not breathing, they are not doing anything else."
I would say this person has a pretty good sense of humour wouldn't you? LOL. And if you think this is funny, wait until
you read some of the blogs. Hilarious! For instance, one of the blog's title descriptions is "At a cardiac arrest, the first
procedure is to check your own pulse." Like I said, I think he's joking but I can't be totally certain. I mean, is one really
able to take their own pulse while having a cardiac arrest? While this blog is extrememly entertaining, I don't know
how seriously I would take the advice given here. So if you just need a good laugh, click on the link to
"Keep Breathing" and hold your stomach for a while.
