Mostly an internet term, used to describe pictures (photographs) that are X Rated, in that they contain full nudity or depict sexual activity.

Definition

Many versions exist, for internet sites to describe the content of their sites. 'X' to denote the content is restricted to adults only, with 'pics' being a shortened version of pictures, images, photographs. Used within many software programs, for rating websites, so appropriate parental controls can be used.
