Someone who removes their clothing, and appears to others, totally naked. Usually a performer in a speciality night club.

Definition

In some regions, disrobing in public is considered a criminal act, and can result in fines, or jail time. Other restrictions can be imposed by local, regional, and national bodies in regards to locations offering such entertainment.

Most associate strippers as being female, though many gay bars will offer shows, featuring males only. In some heterosexual venues, they may offer male strippers, for a 'ladies night' but generally offer female strippers only.
