There are two kinds of Webmasters: those who are professional and considerate, and those who are not. If you've ever contacted a porn site Webmaster to offer feedback or a question or to report a problem, you know that the quality of the response makes all the difference as to how you feel about the site and whether you will renew your membership. I know some porn Webmasters who are the most gracious and accommodating businessmen you could imagine, but man oh man, that just isn't the norm.
If one contacts a Webmaster to provide positive feedback and the Webmaster doesn't reply to the message, it's really not an issue. Webmasters are busy guys and can't always respond to messages that do not necessarily require a reply. It's great though when you provide feedback and the Webmaster actually thanks you for the praise and keeps the door open for further communication.

I understand that Internet-based businesses, like any business, must have an identity and a Marketing presence to draw attention and generate sales. This is usually achieved through typical methods such as company logos and advertising materials, and porn is no exception. However, there comes a point when the advertising can distort the product itself, at which point the dude behind the business is defeating his own goal.
Most porn sites that produce original material generally have a customized logo that is displayed somewhere on each of their Web pages, photos and vids. This is logical and not usually an issue because most proprietors are smart enough to place the logo in an inconspicuous place, such as the bottom right or left corner of the image or vid, usually in relatively small print so that it doesn't obstruct the images that you are paying to see. It is simply common sense to do it this way, for if one makes the logo too big or too obnoxious, it is frustrating to the customer because that damn logo is in the way.

A few years ago, when most of us were on dialup, most porn was pics for the simple reason that the videos were either too low quality to bother with or because we didn't have the patience to download good quality movies. But things have changed. Now most of the internet is on broadband and movies are king. And it's understandable - seeing and hearing a guy as he moans and shoots his load certainly brings sex to life.

This topic almost seems too inconsequential to mention, as if I'm desperately searching for things to complain about. But if I don't speak out, who will? There's another increasing epidemic in online porn that, for lack of a better term, really burns my ass.
