One would think that if someone takes the time to design a site, market it, and provide fresh content, that the site would function properly and that everything advertised in the tour is actually present and usable. In the past month alone, I have found 4 sites which literally pulled down my pants and stuck a broomstick up my butt without lube, a kiss, or any hint of providing the content for which I just paid $20 to $30. Corbin Fisher drops DRM
You may be aware of DRM. It stands for Digital Rights Management, and it theoretically protects membership site content from being stolen and used on other sites. You may have encountered it in porn sites before. Movies protected by DRM cannot be watched without your Media Player acquiring a license, and usually you need to input your username and password again, wait a few seconds and click a play button in the middle of your player.
Well, lately some of the most high quality sites that use DRM have been dropping it. First it was Corbin Fisher that announced their site would no longer use DRM. They also wanted to make sure that potential members realize that any movies they download are theirs to keep - as it says on their join page "DOWNLOADABLE VIDEOS are viewable after membership expires".

I was recently talking with some friends who kept talking about the "golden age of porn". They remembered internet porn being better a few years ago. Well, that's sure not how I remembered it. I remember a few years ago, porn sites had tiny blurry videos because so few of us were on fast broadband. So one of my friends said "Yeah, but the sites offered lots of content." Just in from Saint at Large, a genre-defying film about the infamous Black Party in NYC. The "film experiance" is called "Schwarzwald: The Movie To Dance To" starring Buck Angel with a cast of thousands! The music element is taken from the Black Party where Peter Rauhofer and Offer Nissim dj'ed. This very differnet film has to be seen in a club and in-person to get the full effect.
The Schwarzwald experience has hit the Film Fest Circuit- starting with NEWfest in NYC June 9th and just recently July 21st in Los Angeles at OUTfest.

If a donut shop claims to have the best donuts in town, and if they want their business to prosper, what must they do? They must provide the best donuts in town, or a semblance thereof, otherwise their reputation is worthless. Any business which claims to specialize in a certain product or service must prove their commitment to the value of that specialty. If a burger joint claims to offer sandwiches that are 3 times the size of those offered at other burger joints, then those sandwiches better be just that. If they are a third of the size of an average burger, than there is no commitment to the specialty and it's blatantly obvious to the consumer.
