TV game shows still mostly use female models to showcase the prizes. But The Price Is Right is taking another stab at including hunky male models in its lineup. It was two years ago that we wrote about Rob Wilson, who was named the first official guy to point at stuff on TV. Somehow, Rob, an actor who currently appears on the soap opera Days of Our Lives, turned a one-week stint into a two-year gig. Now, the show is having another contest to find his replacement.
Over the past few weeks, hundreds of studs applied for the spokesmodel position. With a series of challenges, the field was narrowed to 30 based on their "humor, charisma and the ability to think fast," according to CBS. Oh, and the ability to look good shirtless. All the entrants were featured on a weekly online series. Now, only three contestants remain.
The finalists got to appear on The Talk this week, and co-host Julie Chen posted a pic with them on her Instagram (above). They are (from left) Jonathan Morgan, Jay Byars and James O'Halloran. The winner will be chosen via online voting, which closes on Friday, December 5. The winner will be named on the syndicated show on Monday, December 8. Check local listings. And may the best hunk win!
