Notes On Bar Napkins is a penetrating and hilarious blog written by one Jeremy Feist, a college student with definite ambitions who gives "great read". Calling himself, in his blog subtitle, "The world's least likely gay porn star", his rich humor and smart-as-a-whip take on life in Montreal as a single gay man are classic good reading, right from the top. Yes, there is something for everyone, including intimate details of time spent with not only potential lovers but also from his experiences as a talent scout - funny as shit - and his experiences with a few of the apparently "no brainer" dot-com "hook up" sites. Always with the irony a very sharp mind possesses, not a whole lot gets by Jeremy. You feel for him, in a way, because he would make someone one hell of a good mate. He expresses himself easily, but he also addresses critical emotional levels of life, including family and all the personal quirks which make us who we are. He reviews some pretty fascinating things - music, TV programs deleted from the "aughts", movies, writing - a pretty wide swath. The thing is, all these "takes" are well worth a read. This is a smart, sexy and very appealing dude. Time spent here might or might not make you laugh, but it sure as hell will make you want to call.
