Arch Noble is more than one thing. While we focus on his blog, the author of this site has wider interests in general, aside from these wonderfully personal looks at the preoccupations of his provocative and interesting thought processes. While the blog is active and very challenging in some ways - presenting many architectural/design-centered images and considerations - he gives up much, much more as one goes deeper inside. This is an appreciative gay man who shares our own sensations and lusts and who presents his own biases in most fascinating ways. Whether he displays a scintillating spread involving the hottest underwear model, an actor or singer, he always seems to return to simple things - a nice-looking man with a huge cock, for example. Or a great ass, wiggling in front of our faces. His use of GIF's - moving photos - is hilarious at times and very cool, at worst. This is really a very cool blog, with benefits. A trip over to his home page shows some startling photographs, well-drawn in composition and subject matter, if sometimes unsettling. Smart, provocative in a human and caring sort of way, this blog has nuance and style.
What do you get when you cross a Millenial with wit? Answer: Matt Siegel, the grand doyenne of an entire generation of GLBT writers, who's blog, The Unabashed Queer, is a superbly-crafted (and supremely campy) media mix written by the 28-year-old enfant terrible that has been reshaping the LGBT cultural landscape since 2008.
And Matt, who hails from Atlanta, isn't just another bitchy diva, either. He's a published bitchy diva (and, according to his bio, former house 'thang' to the stars, including now-deceased Jill Clayburgh (she was alive when he worked her, we're confident), Adam Carolla and Arianna Huffington of The Huffington Post) who is enrolled in the Nonfiction Writing Program at the University of Iowa, a campus renown for it's baby colors fetish and its Uggs. In his very first post, written on October 19, 2008, Matt deconstructs the blog's title. He also unloads the tone and intellectual calculus for posts to come:
"Gay-bashing" is a common term for hate crimes committed against my people. The prefix "un-" means "not, opposite of, reverse action, release from," so it's a cool coincidence that "unabashed" pairs un + bash as if to say "no longer bashed."
Siegel gravitates to whatever strikes his fancy from gay porn scion Bruce Vilanch ("This man here-the one with the pussy pouch, titties, and innertube of skin jelly around his jaw- is a lecherous legend in Hollywouldn't.") to Madonna ("The next interesting, revolutionary thing she can do is die.") to Raquel Welch ("Actress, Mother, Designer of high-end wig line: What's left to do? Write a shitty book."). He also blends in some funny - and surprisingly well-made - video into the mix. Luckily for us, what Matt doesn't do is Overkill. And thank your Benson & Hedges. If there's one thing that gets tired, and fast, it's a 'she' with poor timing and lax manners.
Mitchmen is a studious artist who is enraptured with men and the male form. As well, he likes to explore domination, bondage and quite often military men as participants. Indeed, as he says, he has always been curious about all these things and even now "it continues to develop into diverse fetishes and occasionally gruesome interests!" What it is this - it is unique and hot. He looks closely at vintage-seeming pictures, framing his own monologue during the feature, describing the author's purpose as well as constructing a tale about the participants, getting them to the particular juncture in which they find themselves. Invariably issues of dominance and superiority flit through, revealing a passionate interest in the role and application of dominance among mutually-sexual men. Most of his work is posted at his Yahoo Group Site where an active reader can join and then see it all. What we have in this superlative blog here are inklings of his work and where those ideas stemmed from.
POP WIRED is a slick and fashionable as all hell blog originated by a couple of gay young men with happy hearts and a sense of gorgeousness in males. It appears they've taken a bit of time off blogging and - if so - it would be a shame. Their blog is fascinating, clean, artistic and shows us the state of the art cruising for the best-looking guys in the world of acting, music and entertainment in general. They have a nice, humble gift for understatement and they present their subject matter clearly and real well. One can definitely assume they enjoy their work. I personally hope they get back to work with this outstanding blog because they have a knack and an definite eye for male eye candy. Fresh and well-written, they back some social causes as well, providing space - and some courage - for the Gay and lesbian youth from Youth First Texas who demonstrated at a silent flash mob recently at the Rosa Parks Plaza to honor the National Day of Silence. I like their ball, so to speak, and wager we all will who take the time to peruse these pages. Keep it up, guys.
Untitled Barebacker is a blog written by an especially horny guy who talks about his many adventures, some of which take place in hugely exotic and interesting places and cities and all of which involve copious and lusty cum-drenched affairs. His blog is a few years old which in itself is good because he occasionally waits a while between postings. Based on what he describes, I think he might just wear himself out at the big-ass and happily-raunchy parties he visits. Actually, I'm hoping I stir him up a bit because his posts are wonders of immediacy and it looks as though he's taken a month or so off. He writes so well, you can almost feel the physical presence of not only him but of his well-described partners. He describes reality well - including the bad with the good in this case. He is connected within a few different gay communities, including RawManOrgy people and other party fellows. It's interesting because it gets him close to easy connections and those fine asses and cocks he relishes and speaks so wonderfully about. He loves bareback sex and he sure seems to get a bunch of it. This is a very sexy, straightforward blog about sex, getting it and having it. Very cool, very hot and very entertaining reading by a good writer. Me likey.
Beautiful is an incredibly well-named blog, an outgrowth of the magazine by the same name. What the blog does is cross feed archives and project newer stuff into the same stream, giving us glimpses of interviews, pictorial series of the hottest names in modeling - and even some gay porn. Upbeat, sumptuous to look at, always - well - just fucking beautiful, the pages of this growing blog take us to exotic and very urban concerns and locations we may never have visited before. And of particular interest, they present a philosophy which raises the level of interest even more. Country kids in the city, showing off marvelous bodies as models, discussing their personal lives in interviews which are pointed and topical are always hot. I particularly liked the spread dealing with Paul Reitz about where he came from and why he went to New York. There was real depth to an interview about what being raised as a farm kid in farm country means, offering a gritty reality to many urban dwellers' assumptions. This is a really smart and absolutely stunningly well-laid-out blog. Which just figures, considering the world class magazine this site is from.
The Fixed Gear is a cycling enthusiast's small rather simple bible and for those who may not know as much about the sport, it is an essential tool for understand the events, the sport itself and what goes into it. Of course, for our purposes, there are pictures of incredibly good-looking guys wearing those shorts which bulge at absolutely all the right places. Including the middle, let me hasten to add. Indeed, the middle bulges allow for some solid peeks at the hardware - or, in these cases mostly "software" - that adorn these world-class studs. There has always been something about skin tight Lycra shorts and those brief little shirts which have moved those who like a well-turned male body and, believe me, there is nothing in this blog to move us in any other direction. In fact, these are pictures of the best of the best, with some studly hard-muscled candy thrown in, sweet and arousing as crap. See what you think about the 1,000 meter guys and then say these dudes are not hot. More like American football linebackers than sleek distance cyclists? I'm in!
Vintage Gay Media History is a very personalized and sometimes wonderfully eccentric blog that borrows items and ideas from truly vintage sources, presenting them in pleasing and surprising packages. For example, not only do we get an absolute catalog view, numerically, of some of those hot "ebony men" from 'back in the day', but a page later we find ourselves perusing Christmas Decorations and Sears "Wish Book Catalogs" from the Fifties. Naturally, even the "Sears View" includes hot pictures of the not-very-numerous nude personalities of that era. Nevertheless, there had to have been some very serious investigators on the case, unearthing these many Retro and delectable delights. I find this blog to be a very well-earned "10" in terms of effort, style and content. Presented in fascinating ways guaranteed to titillate and arouse, these hot pictures and scenarios tend to stick with one after visiting. This is seriously erotic and dick-straightening stuff, all right out of Beaver Cleaver's living room no less.
MOC Blog, otherwise known as "Men Of Color Blog" is a loaded and video-centered total 'treat' of a blog site, featuring real men "of color" as they take on the various "colors" of the men around them. It is an exceptionally erotic and sexy site, produced to enlighten and illuminate all the nicest qualities which men "of color" offer. We have your standard average Japanese men, fucking other men in wanton and lusty ways; we have our African brothers wanking it and shooting cum all over the room for our viewing pleasure as well as our Samoan, Indian, - hell, you name it - cumming and craving cock in every conceivable manner, just like their pinker buds. It's pretty rich in general, the truth is, with abundant sexuality and slews of tight ass-fucking and cock-sucking proceeding at the best gay sites' light speed pace when push comes to shove and cocks get hard. This site has bandwidth galore, featuring as many tube videos as it does, so it can be a while loading, but I have rarely seen a blog quite like it - it's just steamy and horny as all hell. This one makes for a splendid visit which could see someone stick around for a while. These guys and their friends are remarkably hot. For this surfer, that's always a splendid bottom line.
Blog About Men is a product of a French Canadian guy, living in Asia with his long time male partner who helped him develop this gorgeous blog about beautiful men, their form and the appeal they offer to other appreciators of gorgeous man flesh. It really works exceedingly well. Francois's pictures and videos are universally those dealing with the hottest-looking men in the world. Naturally, most are gay and many, in fact, are seen in contact with other equally-hot guys.He takes particular interest in men removing clothing, revealing more of the body as it goes, never stopping until we get these stunning visuals of hot fucking cocks, throbbing in front of our faces in luscious living color. Hot streaming videos or the beautiful high resolution pictures he sports on his blog all combine to make a visit here a wonderful treat for eye candy aficiando's as well as for - well, hell - everybody who likes good-looking men. Make no mistake - there are lots of them on this rich and bodacious blog. Well done, Francois!
