Achilles Heel Art is a blog conjured up by the proprietor of a paysite where his artwork can be found. He specializes in the Bear perspective and his blog is full of erotic feet, tickled beyond measure and in the presence of many burly, bearded, older, hairy men. Truly impish, in a way, the author does indeed delight in tickling feet. He has a most definite foot fetish but it must be said his men are also manly men, full of ancient verities of manly men - such as hair, girth (in some, not all cases) and, well, substance. The blog has inklings of the artwork which he scatters around and features now and then and it is also quite sexy. Men on tables, trussed and tied, edible feasts for accompanying revelers who are seen toying in pleasure. The blog itself posts pictures of "tickle torture" - seriously! - and of laughing men, tied up themselves at the moment in some near-pain as they endure enormous and outrageous amounts of tickling. These men are not all dressed, either, I hasten to add. Some nude, some in various stages of undress, they make an interesting and sexy tableau of gorgeous guys finding themselves in quite a "pickle", as it were. Fun-loving, sexy and different, this blog is a nice and raw look at men having fun and sex together. It takes something altogether childish and makes it real. Me likey.

P.Viktor is a bit on the intimidating side of things to review. Let's start by saying he has a fascinating website, where he posts his poetry, his musings and his reviews of the most challenging literature, art and music. His perspective is that of someone widely-read with a definite interest in gay literature and art. His reviews take on such challenging figures as Francis Bacon - extremely controversial modernist painter, often referred to as the "enfant terrible" of Modernism - and the uneven movie rendition of the epic classic of gay literature by Chris Isherwood, "A Single Man". He delights in a challenge and he takes on the most thorny and insightful literature and art with a clear eye for detail and consistency. But it may be P.Viktor's poetry which moved me most. He pours out his sensibility with relish, creating gorgeous bits of imagery and angst among the solid objects of our world. Intriguing play with Time itself flits across the mental landscapes giving us a newborn 50 year old, shocked at her self-discovery. His connection with emotion is never gone. Not a chance as he exposes the real human inside us. This guy is a find. I have bookmarked him and I am delighted to have found his website. It is totally rich in experience and in play. P.Viktor is a total "keeper".

Trevorade is essentially the product of one Trevor Hoppe who writes most of the material and who inspires the sense of this charming, informative and highly intelligent blog. Mixed with scenes from funny, serious, hot or otherwise-fascinating videos, Trevor provides commentary on a wide and controversial list of topics - from Viagra and gay sex to the oddities of the American Far Right and their bizarre stances on things sexual - and not just gay. But it needs to be mentioned, more than once, that there is abundant humor in here too - some truly funny shit. In the end, Trevor is a man possessed of an incisive and penetrating intellect who is unafraid to deal with the thorniest social problems. He makes arguments which make abundant sense and which were devised to keep us asking questions. He keeps the mind on fire with his studious approach to society and to our own niche's of interest. His subject matter is too wide to destroy by capsulizing - but suffice it to say his approach opens rather than closes argumentation. He is obviously among the smartest guys we know, but it does not at all take away his own sense of fun and pleasure. Likable, smart as a whip and "seminal", he inspires us to think and to play - two of the greatest pleasures we can ever know. I really like this blog.

Guycandi is a minimalist, straightforward sort of blog intended for one purpose only - to feature a daily ration, in a single picture, of some gorgeous guys. It's not elaborate or wordy. In fact, far from it, this blog draws its appeal from the subject matter and nothing else. And in this simplicity there is some true beauty. I liked everything about this blog and I'm not even sure why. It just seems so straighforward and Anti-Clutter or pretension. That the author appreciates hot-looking men is sure an absolute given, right from the start. But I think the stark representation featuring solo pictures of each one of these world-class handsome guys typifies some extremely good taste and some decent - well - manners, somehow. It may be a fault of mine I guess, referring to quaint mannerly things, but the tastefulness of this author's presentations just seems to warrant a pat on his handsome back. Make no mistake - these hunks are dick-straightening gorgeous, sexy fucking guys. I loved them all. And that's just it, isn't it. These dudes work on you, the more you see of them. There is a theme and sensibility to this blog that is starkly sexy as all hell.

Ethan Says would definitely be within the parameters of my definition of a "truly fascinating site". This site has been around a while, judging by the enormous number of "categories" listed on the left hand side of the home page. I found no end of unbelievably well-done posts and articles relating to the fashionable and the unfashionable sexiest guys and gals in the Galaxy of Gay. The first item I encountered was the hilarious and well-done music video, done by "Peaches", called "Fuck You Like A Billionaire". If that won't stir up some interesting images, then the music will! That was a hot tune. The rest of this site includes a very impressive list of topics and draws from a range of material from high-fashion photography of models to sexy bits covering recent gay porn stars and celebrities being themselves. The reach of this site's interests is also impressive and hugely wide - as well as International. There are some political tidbits along with eroticism, always a lethal combination for me in terms of wasting good gobs of time. Flashy, classy, stylish, Ethan Says is a humorous and empathetic site dedicated to pleasing the curious in us all and delivering in a fashion which is pleasing as hell, interesting and fully-loaded with pretty much anything you could want, including some gorgeous body parts. Ahem.
