Bob Wingate's Blog is a fully fledged and very well-written exploration of male bondage in many of its different forms. He does present pictures and some realities in his blog - some quite extensive, too - all involving real people doing all this in reality. One gets the impression of a very active and dominating fetish practitioner who enjoys his work and who has the great good taste to write it for us in readable and pretty damned erotic style.

Brute by Simon is a very focused collection of artwork by a most interesting guy who obviously enjoys and depicts the "Bear" genre of gay sexuality. What makes it somewhat more remarkable is the consistency of his art work. No doubt - although this is a complete guess - Simon himself resembles the main character in his art work. There is an eerie Bob Hoskins look-alike mode occurring here, featuring what almost anyone would call a strong-looking, stocky, well-muscled but otherwise perfectly average-looking man. And therein lies the beauty of an artist such as this who can display his version of "Everyman", as if this version had his own, hidden but incredibly strong Bear-like tendencies and impulses. These images are detailed, hairy, strong, not always sexual but always consistently featuring the same guy in this website, sometimes wearing period costumes or other situational clothing. And a delight it all actually is, too. To this viewer, it seems this very consistency rather strangely evokes the overall sense of what Simon is trying to get across - his own interest in the hot sexuality underneath that "average" exterior. There is a throbbing sort of complexity and tension that screams out "Sex" in these paintings. What makes it relieving and even hotter are those pictures involving the full-out nudity we seem to wait patiently to unfold. We do indeed get it, but it is not the primary tension-producing feature. Evocative, strange yet still-sexy, Brute by Simon is one fascinating web site.

Gay Erotic Archives is an example of misjudging a book by its cover. Inside the unassuming art work of this web site's Main Page is a startling amount of gay porn, on film as well as in print. In fact, it is such an ambitious work, it is "in progress" as we visit, yet full to the very brim with the best preview screenings of the best and some of the very most classic archives of male gay porn in general. Not only that, but they also present an entire "Print" section which deals with magazines such as Blue Boy and Playgirl, complete with the very best photographs from each one. Did I say "rich with content"? Wow! And they seem to be just getting underway, no less, with at least this version. I went to the Print Section and scrolled a bit, passing by "Unzipped" Magazine, on down to "Freshmen" and browsed the links offered which are samplings of models featured in some cum-drenched and super hyper erotic couplings and solo acts. The Film Section was equally impressive, with sampling from BaitBuddies and Extra Big Dicks. Explanations of the stuido work are there, much like blog posts, but longer. The Seafront Diaries is a strictly personal, autobiographical account of an interesting enough guy, Jason, who gives us very well-written, complete takes on what he sees, hears and experiences. It is rife with a sort of personal honesty which makes you feel almost like you're looking over his shoulder. Honestly, there's something extremely intimate about this author's ways - and that's not a bad thing at all. Fortunately, he's smart as a whip and he definitely sees humor where some folks might not experience it. There is self-deprecating stuff in here, of course, but also some bold and snappy shit that makes it all stretch out a bit and make the entire effort more worthwhile. If this were just some whining asshole, that wouldn't work. Far from it, Jason's takes are honest, direct and filtered through a fairly disciplined - if horny - mentality. He does get rather sexy in some of his stuff and he announces so that we can all make plenty sure, that he is now "on the market", lol. As I said, quick-witted and seemingly healthy, Jason presents us with a near-classic representation of the mind of an educated gay male in almost any city. His unique experiences merely expand that into humorous and sensitive fun, at least for my money. I am personally grateful he posts. I like the guy.
