Advocate.com

72.jpg

Advocate.com is the digital home of the award-winning published version of the newspaper "The Advocate". The printed version of this site has been the famous and long-serving voice of the LGBT community for over 40 years. It is nearly impossible, in fact, to even begin to speculate on what an important and vital role this epoch-making rag has served over the years. In fact, I am in awe that I get a chance to even mention it. Revolutionary and uncompromising, full of clear and concise opinion and always just smarter than hell, The Advocate rests near the head of institutions which have accomplished changing world-wide sensibilities towards LGBT issues. And now we are fortunate enough to have the online version, as responsible and as timely as ever. From social and political opinions, to news events breaking in same day time, Advocate.com brings us an updated version of the same events and issues covered by the print version. Nor is politics and social commentary the only area of interest. Entertainment, business, sports, health and fitness, travel and video sections utilize the best writers and general smart people to make it entertaining as well as extremely relevant. To my mind, a person could do far worse than including this web site in his early morning mandantory coffee reading.

The Theory of Pansexuality

69.jpg

The Theory of Pansexuality begins with a lush and ultra-stylish Home Page and is a web site dedicated to sexual exploration in a rigorous and, hopefully, educational way. The stated purpose of the site, written by Peter Bloom, is to approach sexuality itself in a saner, more inclusive and therefore more compassionate way. To this end, it is befitting of a man with the credentials and intelligence of Mr. Bloom to see a remarkably skilled argument set forth, based on real empirical studies and the results of symposia which have included all the leading lights in the study of human sexuality of our time. "Pansexuality", as the author states, "is an attitude or a philosophy which is based on the belief that the human sexual potential can and should be directed towards everybody and everything."

This is not your everyday site with reductive or cheer leading arguments for being "gay", "bi" or actually anything else. It partakes somewhat only of Freud, but especially of his concept of "polymorphous perversity" - the idea that curious children and adults find themselves very exploratory and perverse to societal norms very early on. The conflict with society is illustrated as frustrating to human sexuality, especially when contrasted with older and quite successful cultures such as Sparta where gay behavior was not only tolerated but was encouraged. I encourage anyone who is interested in finding out the current approach to sexology to visit this site and scroll among the links. This could be a very important website for anyone who ponders sexuality and its human and historical dimensions.

The Art of MSSF

70.jpg

The Art of MSSF is a newer blog, only around since April. Highly personal, the author refers to his friends who comment liberally and to many of his subjects who are known to many in the gay community, particularly in San Fransisco, MSSF makes some incredible and simply outstanding art. Highly-stylized and in 3D format, the chiseled features and the many varied lighting shadows serve to bring out male sexuality like few others. Dripping with abundant testosterone, to say nothing of the orgasmic episodes so painstakingly depicted, MSSF brings a seething sexuality to all of his subjects. Opting for many ancient themes, including Achilles and his lover Patroclus, MSSF always brings the rich tapestry of the hottest male sex to his unique and high tech canvas. Rich in the details lusty men want to see, the full-body approach and full nudity as well as hardcore episodes involving friends and suggested themes, MSSF produces a muscular, rich and vibrant art celebrating the gay lifestyle and some of the more noteworthy personalities who personify and who also live it. This is a luscious bite of the Apple, resplendent in its colorful and interestingly-lit form and simply hard as a rock.

Butt Machine Boys

buttmachineboys.jpg

Butt Machine Boys isn't your average sex toy site - it isn't your average site at all. That's because the machines used to pump the guys' asses are like power tools used to drive dildos into tight assholes using pistons, flywheels and other motorized methods. The resulting action falls somewhere between extreme masterbation with toys and science fiction - and everything is real, and caught on camera and video. The men here are penetrated deeper, harder and faster than any cock could ever do. Watching the videos is not only amazing, it's hot. If you ever wanted to see guys who want their ass filled to the ultimate limit, Butt Machine Boys shows what men are really capable of taking when they're as horny and as willing as they can be - and ready to get off! Whether that makes you horny or curious, or a bit of both, one thing is for sure - the action at Butt Machine Boys is definitely worth checking out.

John Gress Photography Blog

68.jpg

The John Gress Photography Blog is an exceptionally stylish piece of work of a caliber I am convinced only a true professional could reach. In my opinion, we get very lucky to browse a blog like this, so replete as it is with a truly artistic side of a professional photographer's more personal side - with emphasis on artt. John, who now calls Chicago his home base, is a transplanted Portlander with a resume to simply die for. He has obviously earned his spurs and in fairly quick fashion by working for the most well-known news and commercial organizations on the planet. But it is here, in his blog, where we get glimmers of who John Gress is. While not remotely a confessional type of blog - we learn to expect more, somehow - we can easily see his extreme appreciation for the male form. He applies a fascinated eye on details and depth as well as lighting and general form. One gets the impression this guy knows not only the subject but that he wants to actually express his own appreciation for his depth of feeling and sensation, captured photographically. His sumptuous pictures feature gorgeous men wearing gorgeous clothing - or not - where he applies the caresses of a tradesman with talent and a richly intuitive sense of style itself. Obviously, I am blown away by a photography blog that looks this good. I also believe there is more there than just pictures. It's guys like John Gress who acquaint us with the possibilities of an art form.

Soft and Hard Gay Pictures

66.jpg

Soft and Hard Gay Pictures is a tasteful blog featuring loving looks at some of the hunks a majority of us know well enough yet may not yet have seen in these particular images. Acquired from the public domain, admittedly, many of these pictures took assiduous searching for, I am totally convinced. The way it is all presented also shows the blogger to have a most discerning eye for male beauty and the characteristics which sexually appeal to - frankly - both sexes. In this light, there is art involved. His series' are not short - he gives ample bandwidth to some delicious-looking men in posts containing up to 20 pictures. Typically all strong, virile types, these are eye candy of an elite order. There is one post dealing with hairy guys which was simply riveting in its raw sexual appeal. There is something single-minded, purposeful and very consistent in this blog and in what it features. One gets the sense that the next page will be another fascinating addition to a fine journey and that one will not be let down. You just know the author has something remarkable in store. There is comfort and some anticipation which make for a very interesting blog, full of beauty and sexuality and even just a bit of tension. I liked this blog. It doesn't over reach and therein lies its rather fascinating purity.
