Canadian Olympian Has Website Banned In Russia After Posing In His Underwear

Justin Kripps, captain of the Canada's four-man bobsled team, recently posted a photo of himself and his sledmates in their underwear. Along with the caption "Double checking our race weight for the 4man Sunday."

Pretty light-hearted stuff, and the picture promptly went viral around the world. It also must of struck a cord with Russian authorities. The team is now in Sochi and when Kripps went to log into his site, all he got was an error message in Russian.

Translated the message said "access to this site website is limited" due to a court decision, content that violates Russian law, or a violation of intellectual property.

It is unclear as to why Kripps' website has been blocked in Russia. The site is for fans of him and his bobsled team, with no gay content at all. But because of his underwear pictures, Russian authorities may felt the picture violate its gay propaganda law.
